Diamond Mozette, a 35 year old single mother of teenage twins, Trinity and Trish Mozette, 13 years of age. Diamond was born in Trinidad and Tobago, she moved the states and was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She currently resides in Alpharetta. She is a graduate of Grambling State University with her Masters in Business Administration w/concentration being Entrepreneurship, she's gotten her Bachelors in Journalism, and her Associates in Culinary. She's achieved all of these degrees but lacks finding a job that would get her family into a comfortable state.
Diamond lived in her home for 5 years until the pandemic hit, she had to work from home at her then job. Money was not enough for her to keep her home. The cost of living increased, food expenses increased, gas prices increased. Nothing was affordable anymore. Diamond lost her job she had of 10 years, she lost her home that she worked hard to maintain for 5 years, she lost her car that she had for 3 years. She had to pull her twins out of an awesome charter school and into public school nearby. Her family was homeless a shelter moved them into a motel where she started her business of catering. She sold plates to the neighbors around her in the motel. She was able to put back money as well as pay her bills. A church she was heavily involved in helped her and her twins get clothes, food and necessities. She still was unable to find a job and afford a car. She utilized public transportation nearby to get around and medical transportation.
