Chris and I were sitting on the couch watching T.V. when he sparked up a conversation.

Christopher

Chris: So babe.
Diamond: Hmm?
Chris: Soooo, the tour is almost overrr.....
Diamond: Mhmm.
Chris: The restaurant the boutique is doing great.
Diamond: Mhmm.
Chris: The girls start school in August, excited about that.
Diamond: Yezzir.
Chris: My baby and my big babies birthday is coming soon.
Diamond: (smiling) Mhmm.
Chris: And our baby is due around Thanksgiving.
Diamond: Supposedly.
Chris; Right, supposedly, so I was wondering why not have a Christmas themed or Happy New Year themed wedding.
Diamond: I don't want a wedding.
Chris: (eyes widen) What?
Diamond: I don't want a wedding.
Chris: What da hell you mean? You mean you don't wanna marry me?
Diamond: (giggled) Oh My God, I knew you were gonna trip over this when I said it.
Chris: You damn right, I'm tripping woman what you talking about?
Diamond: (sitting up) okay visualize with me, I want a small intimate wedding with just a us and a few family and friends, at a church, in Vegas, or even the court house......but have an extravagant reception like go all out.

I sat there for a minute, thinking about what she said then looked at her.

Chris: So, you don't want the ball out wedding?
Diamond: No.

I looked confused at her. She looked at me smiling.

Chris: You serious?
Diamond: Yes baby, I marrying the man I'm not marrying the wedding, so I want to say my I do's intimately to you and a few others and party out with everyone at our reception.
Chris: I see.
Diamond: Wait you want a wedding?
Chris: Well, I kinda did babe after proposing to you I seen Aeko and Lovely walking down as ring barrier and flower girl, Lovely and the twins as your Bridesmaids, well Trish maybe as of my Groomsmen, and you in this big beautiful dress walking down the aisle with your father and your brother, my parents and your parents out front, you know.

She smiled.

"You can see her wheels turning."

Diamond: Babe, okay so hear me out in a small intimate wedding I can still do all of those things.
Chris: Hmm.

"She's right, I just always dreamed of that day being intimate but big and beautiful, but if that's what my baby wants thats what she gets."

Chris: Okay, baby if that is what you want that's what you get.
Diamond: Only if you agree to it.
Chris: I do babe.
Diamond: You sure?
Chris: (kissing her lips) Yes baby.

She grinned, looking into my eyes placing her hand on the side of my face.

Chris: What are you thinking?
Diamond: What color you look sexy in the most?
Chris: Well most people would say Red but I know how you feel about Red.
Diamond: Ooo maroon or burgundy?
Chris: oooo with black?
Diamond: Oh My Fuckn Gosh! That's sexy baby.
Chris: (grinning) Mhmm.
Diamond: I can see you in a full on burgundy with a hint of black and your guys in full on black with a hint of burgundy.
Chris: Let's do Maroon you can actually blend it better with a hint of your favorite color on your dress.
She smiled, hard.
Diamond: You get me.
Chris: Of course I do, so much that I can see your ladies wearing dresses with maroon and a hint of purple just splash of black our babies (the littles) in similar colors of course.
Diamond: Have I ever told you how much I love you?
Chris: Nope, Nope.
Diamond giggled climbing in my lap kissing my face. I wrapped her in my arms as she kissed me gently.
Chris: That's how much you love me?
Diamond: Mhmm.
Chris: Oh, I thought you were going to say you love me like forever and a day or something.
Diamond: Infinity.
Chris: What?
Diamond: Forever and Infinity, infinitely.
Chris: You know that sounds better.
Diamond: Mhmm.
She leaned down to kiss my lips, with her hands on my face, my hands on her waist. I picked her up and carried her to the room where we shared an intimate moment, cuddling of course our favorite thing to do and me holding her belly with our little one.
