Diamond decided after about an hour of the party going on, she decides to make a toast which would be the perfect time for Chris and I to tell everyone about us.

Ding Ding Ding

Diamond: I would like to make a toast, First I would like to thank everyone that showed up for graduation. We couldn't get the whole family because of their limit, but you showed up here at the party so thank you so much for that, I'm sure the girls appreciate that. I would make an individual toast to certain ones. First, I wanna thank Carmen, Jake, Rome, and Rio, you guys have been the best Aunt and Uncles for the girls playing an important role. Make sure the girls get to and from school, taking them out when they are having bad days, talking to them when they need to vent. You guys have helped me more than you know. Thank you to my Cousin for being our bigger supporter and cheerleader, we love you so much for all you have done, to the man in my life as well as the girls, (held out my hand, Chris walked over to stand next to me, I cuffed my arm under his). Chris, you have been my prince Charming/super hero through it all, when we met I was not banking on anything coming out of us meeting, I was not expecting to fall for you like I did, heck I was expecting you to fall for me. But, you did and I am so grateful for all you have done for me and the girls, you play a major part in their life as the father figure they've always needed. Thank you so much baby.
Chris: (smiled) You are very welcome baby.
He leaned in to kiss my lips softly.
Trinity: I want to toast too.
Chris: (smiling) Go ahead babygirl.
Trinity: I would like to thank my Aunt and Uncles too without you guys especially Uncle Rio, I wouldn't have never got through my math classes by myself, Uncle Rome for our mental health hang out days those I cherish the most because sometimes school can get overwhelming for me and Trish, to our cousin you have shown me that I have an elegant side and I do know how to act professional when it is necessary, moma has shown me as well but sometimes you didn't have the patience as much as our cousin. Of course to my sister for us agreeing to have more sister days and times together for bonding purposes, we may still fight but we know how to resolve it ourselves. To my moma thank you for ever thing we that you we wouldn't have all of this, family, togetherness, love and affection. To my newfound dad you play a big part in this as well without you we wouldn't be out of the motel and in this beautiful place, we wouldn't have all of the things we have but most importantly we would not have someone to call on for father-daughters days, father-daughter dances, brunches, parties you name it, when you're not working you always find time for us as well as our little bro and sisters, we love you dad.
Trish: Yeah, we love you dad and moma.
Chris had this good shocked looked on his face I giggled looking at him. The girls giggled hugging him he kissed their foreheads. Diamond was in awe at this moment.
Chris: Okay my turn, Carmen and Rio thank you for being there for me to vent or ask for advice. Rome and Jake yall already know man. It's true what they say it takes a village they ain't lying raising littles and teenagers is definitely a challenge, but guess what it's well worth it. Trini and Trish since you two have come into my life, y'all have truly changed me, I have grown even more as a father because not only do I go hard for 3 I go harder for all 5 of y'all. Trini and Ro are my little diva's daddy always makes sure y'all are laced with all the girly stuff, all the girl trends, Trish and Aeko are my gamers I make sure my babies got all the games they want. Love is my little princess she kinda takes all of daddy's love from the other 4.
Everybody agreed and laughed.
Rome: I mean look at her why wouldn't she.
Everybody agreed and laughed again.
Chris: Touche' bro I do make some pretty babies.
Everybody laughed.
Diamond: such a goofball, you betta hush up woman before I put one in you.
Cousin: ooo please do.
Everybody cracked up.
Chris: (looked at Diamond grinning, she elbowed him) yo people's?
Diamond: My cousin.
Chris: Oh the cousin I talked to on the phone, heyyy cousin.
Cousin: Hello.
Chris: To wrap up my toast, Trini and Trish daddy's proud of you both can't wait to see your high school graduation next, then maybe college graduation after that. To moma, my beautiful, beautiful mamacita, my sexy sexy Trini with the booty and dimples (Diamond blushed elbowing him) Baby you have been rock, as well as my girls, which brings me to my first question Trini and Trish I'm tired of saying you are my girls, my ladies, my babies I wanna make it official how would you feel about having my last name.
Everybody gasped, Diamond's eyes widen, his daughter Royalty clapped excitedly everybody else was in shock.
Trinity: You mean?
Chris: yup.
Trish: I'm cool with that.
Chris: I knew you would.
Trish: (laughing) Whaaaat?
Chris: Trini?
Trinity: Mom?
Diamond: (coming out of her trance) Uh.....I mean I'm cool with it, if you are.
He looked at Trinity, she looked at him.
Trinity: Only if we can hyphenate it with mom's name.
Trish: ooo yeah.
Chris: That's fine by me, I already got the judge and lawyers ready to make that happen.
Every thing began to shift when their biological father's wife spoke her name was Bianca.
Bianca: Girls, what are you saying?
Chris: I think they are saying they as re agreeing to me adopting them and changing their name to mines.
Bianca: I was talking to them not you.
Chris: Well I'm talking to you for them any ADULT has a problem with MY decision would address me and not try to manipulate my kids.
Bianca: But these are HIS kids HIS biological kids, they have HIS last name you should be discussing this with him.
Chris: I did, well I tried he ignored my phone calls, he never called my lady back when she asked him to call her FOR ME, he ignored my attorneys requests to speak to him for months that went on, I'm tired my attorneys are tired of trying so my attorneys and I agreed to come to them and their mom, for the next steps.
Bianca: But, you still have to go to court for all that.
Chris: As I said earlier, judges and attorneys are waiting to get this going, needing my lady's approval and the girls in order to get things popping and why am I talking to YOU anyway he can't speak for himself.
Bianca: Because I am his wife and I have his back.
Chris: Oh he's your puppet, does he do a little song and dance too, get the fuck out of here with that. If a man can't speak for himself then to me he is not a man at all.
Rio: Period.
James: (their dad) Well you speaking for Diamond so what does that make you.
Chris: And the puppet speaks, well sir I'm not speaking for Diamond I'm speaking for my GIRLS, that makes me a FATHER, who stands up for his kids no matter the fuckn issue, in high end side makes me MORE of a father than you have ever been in the 14 years they have been on this planet. Those girls want for nothing, need for nothing, ask for nothing, they just wanted their father's love and affection and you don't give them that, they get more of that from me and Rio.
James: I give my kids love.
Rio: Do you really?
James: yes.
Rome: Were you there when Trish cut all her hair off, because she was having a mental breakdown, got bullied at school.
James: I didn't know anything about that.
Rio: But ya wife did.
Diamond looked in shock.
Rio: School called the next of kin which was James, Bianca answered told them she would tell him, then called Chris he was in Paris so he asked for me to go I was in L.A. for a photo shoot Rome hit me up saying he was on his way to the school. He was there arguing those people down, the system failed her they were talking about putting her in a psych ward because of mental breakdown at school, when they found out why she had the breakdown in the first place, they felt bad. She was out of school for a whole week, to get herself together, doing her work at home. Diamond, myself, Rome and Carmen took turns watching her. Chris called her every night he was over seas to check on her and talk to her, sing her favorite song to her until she went to sleep. Tell me something is that something you have done for your kids?
James shook his head.
Carmen: Or what about the time Trini was being followed by a crazed predator.
Chris: That shyt fucked me up.
Bianca: What?
Carmen: You knew about that right? Because I called you and your wife personally to tell you, spoke to your wife directly.
Bianca: That day we were busy at a Dr's appt checking on our daughter that was soon to be born.
Trinity: That was more important than me?

Diamond put her head down, holding back tears Chris grabbed her rubbing her back, whispering "I got you baby." She was sad with tears she was more mad with tears because everything sounded like Bianca was pushing the girls out of his life.

Bianca was about to speak when James interrupted her, "No, but you know I have a family I'm taking care of so when they need me I drop what I'm doing for them.
Chris: I've heard enough, my attorneys will be contacting you directly with information on court dates, terms and conditions, you don't show up that's on you. I'm not about to have my girls and my lady suffer through this bullshyt any longer which brings me to my next announcement ayo Rio.
Rio: I got you bro.

He walked over to Chris slid something in his hand, Chris turned to Diamond.
Chris: I told you I want to be your savior who heals all wounds and scars in and on your heart, when I first told you I loved you, you asked me why did I say that but I changed the subject it's because I couldn't come to the realization that I really was falling for you, that I really loved you. A lot of people even my boi over here told me you barely know her man how can you say you love her. Because it's not about me knowing her, it's about her knowing me, the REAL me, shidd you peeped that shyt the first week, most women think I'm running game on them later on in the conversation but you told me about myself instantly, shidd she put in my place and hung up in my face. I was impressed and even more intrigued, I WANTED to get to know you more, that's why I stuck around. I know you don't want me for my money, fame, or any of that shyt people's saying you want, I know you want me for me, I know this because of the way you look in my eyes. You look at me like I'm the only man in the world, like it's just me and you and no one else around and I love you for that. Which is why I need to do this.....(gets down on one knee everybody gasps and mumbles to one another) Diamond Amelia Mozette would you do me the honor in permanently carrying the Brown name and making me complete by becoming my other half, Will you marry me?
Diamond was in shock speechless even but the only words that would come out of her mouth was "Hell yeah, you Jerk."
Chris: Thank you, Nerd.

Everybody cheered as he put the ring on her finger she was so excited she quickly grabbed his neck hugging him he hugged her tight picking her up. She didn't want to let him go, she started thinking how many women has this man proposed to "None" she was the first and she wanted to make for damn sure it was the last. That night ended on a better note than it turned out Bianca and James immediately left after the proposal because James was getting upset that Chris proposed to her. Bianca was upset that he had a problem with the proposal.......rumor has it James never stopped loving with Diamond. But it's clear Diamond had moved on, ready to face her future as Mrs. Mozette-Brown.
