The doorbell rang, and Aziel, lying in bed, scrunched his face up, getting up. He walked out of his room and went downstairs. When he reached the door, he opened it to find Morgan standing there. "Aw, you must've known I was coming over." Morgan smiled, eyeing Aziel up and down. Aziel stood shirtless, his lean muscles and abs on full display, tattoos covering nearly every inch of his torso and arms as he wore only sweatpants.
"I didn't know shit. What you doing here?" Aziel responded.
Morgan waved him off. "Whatever, I'm just here for my things." Aziel opened the door wider, and Morgan walked inside as Aziel closed the door.
As Morgan walked further into the house, She glanced back over her shoulder. "You miss me?"
Aziel chuckled. "Get your shit, Morgan."
Morgan stopped in her tracks, then turned to face Aziel with a frown. "Why are you acting like that?" She crossed her arms over her chest.
"Like what?" Aziel asked. He didn't feel like he was acting any type of way. Morgan just stood there, staring at him with a frown on her face.
"You're acting like you don't miss me." Morgan remarked and Aziel just shrugged. He didn't want to admit that he hadn't missed her, not wanting to hurt her feelings by telling her that he hadn't thought about her at all since they cut ties. Morgan nodded, understanding Aziel's nonverbal cue. "Okay, Aziel." she said, "Let me get my shit."
Morgan turned on her heel and walked towards Aziel's bedroom, leaving him standing there. Aziel sighed, passing his hands down his face before following her into the room. He leaned against the doorway, watching as she rummaged through drawers, gathering all of her belongings. "You miss me?" He asked and Morgan paused her movements momentarily, her back still turned to him. She didn't respond to him immediately, instead continuing to grab all of her belongings.
Morgan closed the drawer, her eyes narrowing as she turned to face Aziel. "Not anymore, You make me feel like I'm some type of thirsty ass bi-"
Aziel cut her off before she could finish, "I don't."
Morgan scrunched her face up. "Boy, yes the fuck you do!" Morgan raised her voice slightly and Aziel just stood there remaining silent, staring at her with a blank expression. Suddenly, Morgan realized that she raised her voice and took a deep breath. "I feel like we need to talk just so I could get some closure and be able to get this," Morgan said, gesturing between them. "And you off of my mind." She concluded, pointing directly at him.
Aziel clenched his jaw, contemplating his next move. He wanted to say there was nothing to talk about, but he knew Morgan well enough to know she wouldn't just leave if he refused. So, with a slight nod, he finally agreed. "Aight." He stated.
Morgan had somewhat expected Aziel to resist, so she was caught off guard when he agreed to talk without any argument. "Sooo..." she started, unable to hide her surprise and Aziel chuckled, finding amusement in her reaction. "Shut up." Morgan replied, a hint of a smile on her lips.
