It was the last week before school got out, and today was senior night, Gerard and Frank decided to go to support the senior class. Gerard walked along the sidewalk outside the gymnasium. Waiting for Frank to arrive. He traced his fingers along the bumpy chipped bricks of the building, zoning out.

He snapped out of his little zone, Frank was here.

"Hey Gee!" Frank spoke, walking over to Gerard. Gerard smiled at him, he was still nervous around Frank. After the day before, him confessing his feelings to Frank made him uneasy. But he knew Frank would speak up if he was uncomfortable.

"Hi Frank" He smiled at Frank.

"Do you want to head to the gym? I mean, we still have some time, it's only 6:30." Frank was in a good mood.

Gerard nodded in response, a slight smile on his face.

"I can't believe that this time next year, we will be seniors. Doing this exact same thing. Finally being free from high school" Frank spoke as they walked to the entrance of the gymnasium.

Once they reached the entrance, the sounds of music and people talking filled the whole gym. Frank grabbed Gerard's hand and dragged him to the bleachers to find a seat before there was no more room.

They found a seat near the front of the gym, the senior night wasn't that big of a deal, but Frank had a friend who was graduating and he wanted to support her. The senior night consisted of a few games, some speeches and a slideshow of the class.

Frank waved at his friend, Courtney. She was sitting in one of the seats next to her class, there was around 150 seniors sitting in the middle of the gym, some dressed up nice and some in sport jerseys and letterman jackets.

A few minutes passed before the superintendent came to the podium to speak.

"Hello, and welcome to this year's Senior Night!" The whole gymnasium broke into applause.

"Before we start the games and fun, we have a few students who were chosen to do a speech, during the speeches, please keep your voices low and do not cause disturbances."

The superintendent listed the Valedictorian and Salutatorian, and some honorable mentions. Frank's friend, Courtney, was the salutatorian of her class. So she had a speech.

"Hello, and thank you for coming to the senior night to support me and my peers as we finally reach our last days of high school. Before I start my speech..." She spoke, her speech lasting a few minutes. Gerard looked over to Frank, his face gleaming in pride for his friend. Gerard snuck his hand over to hold Franks. Frank holding his back, tight but not painful.
Gerard felt that feeling of butterflies in his stomach again. It was a good feeling.

The games went on, laughter, and some tears from families of the seniors. The afternoon soon turned into night. As the senior night concluded, Frank and Gerard had left a bit early to go sit outside and look at the sky. The stars painted the black sky. Constellations scattered across, Frank pointed them out, and explained some of them. Gerard was enjoying the moment. Feeling the bond of the two growing.

"This is kind of a bold question. But do you want to stay the night at my house tonight..?" Frank asked. Sort of getting nervous, Gerard could tell by his voice.

"I'd love to." Gerard smiled at Frank.

Frank got off the ground, rubbing his hands clean on his jeans, holding a hand out for Gerard. Gerard reached out, getting up off the ground as well.

"We can take my car." Frank smiled, grabbing Gerard's hand to hold, sort of swinging their hands as they walked to the car.

Frank had a junky black car, it worked fine, but it suited him perfectly. The interior seats were red with black trim on the sides, REALLY fitting Franks style.
