That night at Frank's house was different than any other night Gerard had ever experienced. The dream Frank told him about, made him worry. He couldn't sleep, he started up at the ceiling, the only thing keeping him calm was being able to hear Frank breathing next to him.

He got up quietly, making sure not to wake up Frank. He went into the bathroom that was connected to Franks room, shutting the door and locking it behind him. He stared at himself in the mirror. What if that wasn't just a dream. What if it was a vision. Was something bad going to happen. All these thoughts racing through Gerard's mind made him feel weird. He's never felt worry for a person like this in forever. He also never felt love for a person like he did with Frank. He loved him. The way he smiled at him. The way he held his hand. The way he kissed him. Something about that just made Gerard feel like he wasn't alone. Like he had everything he could ever want.

Gerard was lost in thought until there was a quiet knocking on the door. He turned his head, walking over to the door, unlocking it and opening it. There stood Frank half asleep.

"Are you okay..?" Franks voice was quiet, he was tired.

Gerard nodded. "Just thinking." He looked over to the clock on the wall. 5:45 AM. The sun wasn't even up yet.

"Have you gotten any sleep yet?" Frank asked, walking into the bathroom with him, wrapping his arms around him.

Gerard shook his head no. Which was the truth.

"Why not? Did I do something?"

"No. I'm just not tired, that's all." Gerard tried to reassure him.

"Come on, let's go back to the bed. You can talk to me there." Frank smiled slightly at him, gently taking his hand and pulling him to the bed.

Frank took a seat on the bed, Gerard sitting next to him.

"Tell me what's on your mind, Gee." Frank asked.

Gerard sat there in silence for a moment, trying to collect all the words he wanted to say. He turned his head to look at Frank.

"Have you ever seen the way a storm slowly fades away after the sunlight starts to shine?" Gerard asked, kind of nervous. Fidgeting with his fingers a bit, leaning his head down, looking at his lap.

"Yes, I have. Why?"

Gerard looked back up, looking at Frank.

"That's how I feel with you. I feel like.. when I'm with you, all of my worries go away. But when I am away. My mind is fogged. Like there's a storm in my head, and your the sunlight that makes it go away." Gerard spoke softly.

Frank tilted his head, scooting closer to Gerard, pulling him into a hug, holding him close. Gently kissing his cheek.

"I love you.." Frank whispered in Gerard's ear. It took him a lot of courage to finally say it.

"I love you too.." Gerard spoke quietly, melting in Franks touch, Frank pulling him closer.

Frank continued to hold him, gently rubbing his back, soothing.

They stayed like that for a bit, just close, entwined together.

Frank let go eventually, looking at Gerard with a loving look. Gerard looking at him the same. Frank grabbed Gerard's cheeks delicately, leaning in to kiss him, wanting to feel his lips against his once again. Frank pulled away at some point, opening his arms a bit.

"Come here.., don't worry, I'll be here with you.. forever." Frank smiled, Gerard lying in Franks arms. Frank wrapping his arms around Gerard, lying back onto the bed. Not wanting to let go to him.

"Thank you.." Gerard whispered, lying on Frank.

"For what?" Frank whispered back.

"For showing me that I'm not always alone.."

Frank smiled, leaning his head a bit to kiss Gerard on his forehead.

"You never showed any kind of hatred to me. Never made fun of me for how I acted or dressed. Never shut me out. Even when it felt like everyone else did.." Gerard spoke, tracing small shapes on Franks chest.

Frank rested his hand in Gerard's hair, gently massaging his scalp. Just listening to him speak.

"You never left me."

"And I never will..." Frank whispered.
