The Slytherin table was buzzing with the usual chatter of the house members, but as I approached, the conversation quieted. Heads turned, and whispers followed my progress. I ignored them all, I focus solely on one figure: Draco Malfoy. He sat among his cronies, a smirk plastered on his pale face, but the moment he saw me approaching, the smirk faltered.

Without hesitation, I slammed her hand down on the table, causing several goblets to tip over and the entire table to fall silent. "Draco!" I spat, my voice carrying through the hall. "Why would you do that?"

Draco gulped but quickly composed himself, leaning back in his seat with a forced nonchalance. "Do what, Madeline?" he drawled, attempting to sound indifferent. His eyes betrayed a flicker of nervousness.

"Why would you give Buckbeak a life sentence to death?" I demanded, my voice shaking with barely contained anger. "Why would you go out of your way to get him executed?" I emphasized my point by leaning closer, my eyes boring into his. "What kind of little white-bleached ferret are you?"

Draco's face reddened slightly at the nickname, but he maintained his cool demeanor. "He deserved it," he said flatly. "That beast attacked me."

My eyes flashed with fury. "He didn't attack you, Malfoy. You provoked him. Everyone saw it." I straightened up, looking down at him with a mixture of disgust and pity. "You're so childish, Draco. All this just because you wanted to show off."

For a moment, Draco's mask of arrogance slipped, and he looked almost vulnerable. "And what if I did?" he snapped back, but there was less conviction in his voice. "What are you going to do about it?"

I shook her head, my anger giving way to a deep disappointment. "If you keep this up, Draco, you'll spend your whole life trying to ruin others. Is that really what you want?" I stepped back, my expression softening ever so slightly. "If you keep acting like this, you'll end up giving everyone around you a life sentence to misery."

Draco just stared at me, his grey eyes reflecting a confusion of emotions. For a fleeting moment, there was a softness in his gaze, a silent plea for something he couldn't quite articulate. But it vanished quickly, replaced by his usual cold exterior.

I sighed, shaking my head once more. "Think about it, Draco." I said quietly before turning on MY heel and walking away from the Slytherin table.

"C'mon, Snuffles is a nice name"

The black dog barked backing up, his tail let down-now sad- and turned away from me.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Are you serious?"

He suddenly let out a happy bark and jumped. I frowned at him weirdly and hold him down with his hands. "Calm down you" I chuckled, staring ahead at the black lake.

I'm at the black lake with the dog I met instead of Sirius with the twins, I have been coming here everyday and giving him food, tons of food and now he is healthy and not skinny as he was before. He is now joyful too, would run around with me, we would also play hide and seek sometimes, but only sometimes as it would take a lot of time which made Harry and others worried.

Today, I'm here again, talking with him about things at school and my friends and also about the last quidditch match.

"You know, my brother, Harry..he got a firebolt as a gift from an unknown person but unfortunately it got taken away by Minnie- Professor McGonagall- because Hermione told her that maybe it was send by Sirius Black and that it was jinxed by him to hurt Harry " I told him, rubbing his ear.

He whined, keeping his chin on my lap. "You don't have to be sad...I'm sure it was not send by Sirius, and even it is..then he wouldn't hurt neither Harry nor me." I nodded in hope as he is Harry's godfather and is innocent.

He snuggled his head in my head and licked it. "I know Snuffles, I'm always right"

I looked down at me to see him looking at me angrily. I smirked. "I ='m calling you Snuffles and that's final"

Snuffles huffed, keeping his head back on my lap, staring at the lack ahead us.

"Who is there?!"

I jerked my head towards the sound of Filch and tutted. Looking down at the alarmed Snuffles as he looked around alarmingly. "Alright Snuffles..I'll see you later yeah?" I grinned down at him.

He wiggled his tail, I kissed his forehead and stood up. With a last wave at him, I ran towards the castle, from behind and got inside without even Filch knowing.

"Lumos" I whispered, the bright light appeared on my wand, I held it up looking ahead at the empty, dark corridor and started to walk. "tsk..Should have brought the invisibility cloak."

I patted my back, searching for the map but panicked. I checked again and nothing. "Wow Maddy, you just got yourself in more trouble"

I walked slowly and softly, not trying to make any noise or wake up any painting. The only sound I could hear was the snoring of the portraits and the wind blowing and my breath. Until I heard Remus's voice.

"You see, Severus?" said Remus. "It looks like a Zonkos product to me-"

I hid behind a wall, turning around slowly from corner to see what's happening.

I saw the Marauders Map in Remus's hand, Snape was there and Harry too.

Snape looks at it closely, his wand lit with the 'lumos' charm as he did so. Wow Harry, just wow.

"I'll take it from here now Severus." Remus kept the map inside his robes, not letting Snape see it and turned to harry with a smile. "Mr. Potter, Can you come with me for a moment? Need to discuss about your essay."

And they walked away leaving Snape glaring at their back. He huffed and started to walk, i panicked and ran towards the other side and got in the closet.

I waited for a moment, looked around and sighed. I decided to go to the common room, mentally taking note to get to know about the Map.
