"I...I love you Madeline."

I didn't expected my 3rd year to end like this.

"What the actual fuck?" I made a face while looking at the 3rd year un known, Hufflepuff boy who stood before me with a Rose.

I sighed when his face fall down. "Look, you are unknown, I don't know you, hell I don't even know your name! Do you understand? " I said hurriedly.

He just nodded and turned around to walk but turned back to me again and said seriously.

"But Madeline, I'll always love you."

I just mumbled something and walked away from the corridor.
I crossed my arms over my chest when I saw the twins and Lee , pressed up against the waal as they geard my conversation that guy.

"But Madeline, I'll always love you" Fred said mimicking the boy while Lee pretended to be me.

"Oh! I'll love you too" Lee said in a hugh pitch voice that was not even 2% like me.

"Oh..Happy lovers!" George cheered from the side.

I gave him a side eye, he chuckled and stopped when he saw me and cleared his throat.

"Yea not funny guys" I rolled my eyes walking back to the common room hearing them following behind me.

It has been a week since we, Harry, Hermione, Ron and I along side with Snape, Sirius and Remus had that enterprising night.

Long story short, Sirius escaped well and good and that fucker of a betrayed rat, Peter ran away. Though Sirius did escaped with BuckBeak, as what Harry and Hermione said because I was with Ron at the hospital wing because of his injured leg. 

Although Sirius did escaped, he was not free yet. The ministry is still looking for him and if he catch him, he will have to perform the dementors kiss. So, Sirius is into hiding, he didn't told us where, but he promised us to owl with a secret name of him as Snuffles. 

It's good for his own good. I love how he told that address him as Snuffls in the letters. 

I know he loves the nickname.

My third year along with all the hogwarts students year has been done and we all are going home to get more memories with our loves ones, so I had done my packing in my dorm and was pranking students for the last time this year with the twins and Lee.

To which, I had to meet with a a3rd year boy who blurted out his feelings for me.

Of course I just can't accept it, he's unknown. Anyways...

"Professor Lupin!" I grinned up at the guy who just came out of his office.

"Ah, Miss Potter, Mr and Mr Weasley and Mr Jordan." Remus smiled at us.

We grinned back. "Hey remny!"

"Maddy.." He warned me playfully.  I chuckled.

"I still can't believe that Mr Lupin is your Godfather." Lee said gawking at him.

"We all can't believe." George smiled while Fred patted Lee in his shoulder. 

"So, are you four done with your pranks or..?" Remus asked knowingly. 

"Of course there's more!" We said together in a sing sang manner.

"Ah of course." He chuckled.

My brow furrowing slightly as I noticed the packed bag. "Are you heading home for the summer too, Professor?"

At my words, Remus tensed, a shadow passing over his face. "Yes, I am," he replied hesitantly.

My smile faded, replaced by a look of concern. "Is everything alright?"

Remus hesitated, glancing around before replying, "I... yes, everything is fine. Just... leaving for the summer."

Fred, George, and Lee exchanged puzzled looks, but my gaze remained fixed on Remus. "Are you sure, Professor? You seem... different."

Remus sighed, unable to maintain the facade. "Madeline, could we speak alone for a moment?"

The boys, sensing the seriousness of the situation, nodded and stepped away. Fred gave me a reassuring pat on the shoulder before they left.

Once they were alone, Remus took a deep breath. "Maddy, I'm not just leaving for the summer. I'm leaving Hogwarts. For good."

Shock registered on my face. "What? Why? You're the best Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher we've ever had!"

Remus looked down, the weight of his decision evident in his eyes. "Because of my... condition. The furry little problem. Some parents have found out, and they're not comfortable with me teaching here."

My heart sank. "But that's not fair! You're an amazing teacher. You shouldn't have to leave because of something you can't control."

Remus smiled sadly. "I appreciate that, Maddy. But it's for the best. For everyone's safety."

I sighed heavily, and I hugged him tightly. "I'm going to miss you so much. Please, write to me?"

Remus chuckled softly, patting me back. "Of course, I will. You're so much like your parents, you know. James and Lily... well, mostly James with your pranking spirit, but Lily's kindness shines through."

We both laughed softly, sharing a moment of bittersweet remembrance. "Your father was always up to something, and your mother was the heart of everything. You remind me of them every day."

I smiled "Thank you, Remmy. For everything."

Remus kissed my forehead gently. "Take care, Maddy And keep making Hogwarts an interesting place- and now more detentions, please."

"Cant promise that remmy" I grinned. 

He huffed with a smile.

With one last hug, Remus turned and walked away, leaving me standing in the corridor.

Later, as the Hogwarts Express chugged away from the castle, I sat with—Fred, George, and Lee—lost in thought. I gazed out of the window, the towering spires of Hogwarts fading into the distance.

"What ya thinking in that little brain of yours?" George snapped his fingers in front of her and knocked her head. "Hm..empty" 

I slapped George's arm to which he just chuckled. "I'm just excited for the nest year....and I think that we are going to have much fun...I can smell it in the air" I smiled. 

"....What are you dog?" 

"George!" I groaned kicking his leg. 

"Ouch! that hurts you know?" He faked a groan. 

"good then" 

George chuckled, I smiled at him and looked out of the window again, George rested his hand on top of mine as the train carried us home, the promise of a new adventure lingered in the air, ready to unfold in the coming year.
