"I swear on Merlin's balls! I will not lie to your mother after this" I hissed, taking the toffees out of my jacket pocket and keeping them in the twins bag.

"Oh c'mon Maddy, you loved this one." Fred grinned.

I looked up, threw him a glare "Lying? No!"

Fred groaned "You're no fun."

"You wouldn't be saying that if I wouldn't had done this one or some pranks with you two." I shook my head.

"True." They nodded.

"Idiots." Rolling my eyes, I walked ahead with Harry as he was unable to still open his eyes properly because of getting up so early.

"Harold, you have woken up late than us, stop being so dramatic " I hit his arm.

"It's hard to get up early in the morning don't blame me " Harry rolled his eyes.

"Oh? Right of course , the prince should get more sleep" I nodded, patting his shoulder but then grimace. "You are not even 1% to look like a prince, don't make me laugh."

"I..." Harry fought back to fire back anything. So I flashed him a smile and jumped over to the girls.

"I'll kill her one day." I heard Harry with a groan behind me.

I chuckled and joined in the girls conversation about the world cup.

"I swear, I've never walked this much in my entire life."

"And what about that time when you are awake the whole night to prank several different people " Hermione passed me a glance.

"You never get tired by pranking." I said with my chest puffed out.

"That's my little girl." George patted my head and threw his arm over my shoulder.

"Our little girl." Fred threw a glance at George before smiling down at me.

I shook my head but couldn't able to wipe the smile dangling in my lips.

"Here we are."

Mr. Weasley's voice boomed as we stopped walking and looked ahead of us to see the waves of people, roaming around here and there with particularly very different types of clothes and with green or red color drawn faces.

"Arthur!" We heard someone call out. Turning over we found Amos Diggory and his son, Cedric a student from our school he is now in his 6th year.

Cedric also known as the 'pretty boy' of the school. He is in hufflepuff and famous for his quidditch and gis face. Well, of course he is good looking but I dont drool for him the way other girls do. But ai still find him attractive tho.

Anyways, We girls smiled at them and Arthur did too while the boys were rolling their eyes or huffing as they saw Cedric.

It's hust that, the boys get jealous over Cedric beacuse he is able to pull girls, while others cant.

I mean imagine if Cedric dies one day and then all the boys will jealous again, because he died!?

That shouldn't happen of course.

"Hello Potter, Granger and Weasley's." Cedric smiled at us as he walked uo to our side while his dad went to Mr. Weasley.

"Hi Diggory." We girls smiled up at him along with Harry.

"Diggory." The twins and Ron said with a slight nod.

To look at it, Cedric is not such a bad guy, you know like how it happens ij books where the popular handsome guy has attitude and all but Cedric doesn't even have the A in Attitude. He is kind (Of course), funny as of what I have seen.

I and Cedric haven't talked much, just greeting in the corridors or even him catching me prank in midnight where I had to say to not talk about this to anyone. And he would not.

Before I could continue down that train of thought, Cedric approached us with a bright smile. "Hey! Excited for the match?" he asked.

I grinned. "Of course! It's going to be amazing to see the Bulgarian team's faces when they lose."

Cedric chuckled, his eyes lighting up with amusement. "Confident much?"

"Very," I shot back with a smirk.

The group laughed, and we continued walking, Cedric chatting easily with me, Ginny, Hermione, and Harry. Despite our easy conversation, I couldn't help but notice how the other boys—Ron, Fred, and George—were glaring at Cedric as though they could melt him with their eyes alone.

Once we finally reached our tent, we bid farewell to the Diggorys. Cedric waved us off, and I swatted the twins arms as they were still glaring.

"C'mon now you two" I said.

"Alright, in we go!" Mr Weasley said and he got inside a small tent.

When I saw the tent we were supposed to stay in, my eyes widened in disbelief. It looked far too small from the outside. "Uh, Harry," I said, nudging him. "You reckon you're going to fit in there? I mean, with how big your arse is and all."

Harry gave me a look of mock outrage. "My arse? Have you looked at yourself lately?" He reached over and playfully swatted me on the arm.

I burst out laughing, and in no time, the two of us were engaged in a playful scuffle, tugging at each other's hair and throwing mock punches. Amidst our wrestling, we somehow managed to squeeze inside the tent.

And then we froze, wide-eyed and stunned.

The interior of the tent was nothing like the small, cramped space they had expected. It was enormous, like a fully furnished house. There were several rooms, comfortable beds, and even a kitchen. Magic never ceased to amaze her.

"I love magic," Harry whispered in awe, his eyes wide as he looked around the tent.

Fred's laughter from behind them made me turn. He stood there, arms crossed, watching them with amusement. "Come on, now," Fred said with a grin. "We don't want to see a bald Madeline before the World Cup."

I rolled her eyes, ruffling my own hair dramatically. "Please, Fred, I could pull off any look."

"Yeah, yeah, keep telling yourself that," Fred teased as he headed further into the tent.

I looked around one last time, a smile creeping onto my face. Despite the chaos of our arrival and the playful bickering, this was exactly what I needed. The Quidditch World Cup, surrounded by friends and family, the magical atmosphere—it felt like an escape from the heaviness that had been weighing on me lately. For the first time in a long while, I felt completely free.

Just please, our day doesn't ruin.
