The storm had blown itself out by the following morning, though the ceiling in the Great Hall was still gloomy; heavy clouds of pewter gray swirled overhead as I, Harry, Hermione and Ron were examined our new course schedules at breakfast.

We could hear the twins and Lee barking about magical ways of aging potion to get into the triwizatd tournament.

I shook my head at them and ate my breakfast silently.

"How come you are sitting with us and now my twin brothers today?" Ron chuckled.

Apparently after the other night at the train what happened with the twins and I, we haven't spoken to eachother. Well the twins had an issue and they should be sorry.

Right?

Of course. I don't disrespect their friends do I?

If they want this, they get this.

I looked up at Ron slowly with a glare, he immediately stopped chuckling. "Why, am I disturbing you?" I said with a frown.

"N-no-"

"Well then shut up" I huffed munching into my egg toast.

"Woah, hold your horses." Harry chuckled and I glared at him too he shut up.

"Leave it boys" Hermione smiled at me.

"I love you" I beamed at her.

Hermione's eyes widened, she looked away chuckling awkwardly and started to tell what classes we had today.

I heard the twins saying about the aging potion again and it looks like they want to try it.

I finished my breakfast, got my books and got up. "It's not going to work boys" I called out from behind my shoulder to the twins and Lee, walking out of the great hall with Hermione.

First up we had Herbology which was as boring as I think it is. Then Magical creatures and then divination.

The first half went exhausting and totally not worth it. We were walking to the great hall for lunch, I was behind my group silently listening to their conversation when someone grabbed my from behind and covered my mouth.

I muffled screamed when they lifted me up by my arms and I was kind of flying with their hand supporting me to do so, and I found myself in an empty classroom.

I was about to give a kick in their shin, but they walked in front of me.

"George? Fred?" I said with a frown. "What is this behavior?"

The twins shared a look before George spoke up. “Alright, Maddy, we might’ve been… out of line.”

Fred nodded. “We just don’t trust Malfoy. You’re right, though. We were a bit unfair, especially since you don’t treat our friends like that.”

Maddy crossed her arms, lifting an eyebrow. “Oh, so now you realize it?”

The twins chuckled sheepishly. “Come on, we can’t stand not having our Maddy with us,” George said with a hopeful grin.

Fred held out his arms. “What do you say? Truce?”

Maddy pretended to think, drawing it out just to make them sweat. “Hmm… I suppose I could forgive you both. You two are my favorites, after all.” She sighed dramatically, putting her hand on her heart. “Honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without you two.”

The twins looked at each other and then back at her, grinning like idiots. “Aww, we love you too, Maddy!” they chimed in unison, wrapping her in a hug.

She rolled her eyes playfully. “Oh, don’t get too excited—I was joking! Lee’s still my favorite.”

The twins groaned in exaggerated defeat. “We’ll have to work on that, then!”

We three walked out of the room with me in between them as we joked around again as if nothing happened,  we met Lee in between, him making a dramatic scene of how we are back now and started to walk to the great hall.

Just as we stepped into we saw Draco and Harry fighting.  My heart sank down and I ran towards the scene.

"What the actual fuck do you think you are doing?" I asked them both, watching as their wands were raised ready to shot any moment now.

"Ask your good friend that Maddy." Harry hissed.

"Look, I just spoke facts. " Draco scoffed.  "But you brother don't like it. Always the liar."

"What? I don't understand-"

"Draco insulted Weasley's Family." Cedric got me out of the line and whispered in my ear. "About their mother being...healthy. "

My eyebrows raised up and I clenched my jaw.

"The fuck.." I mumbled.

Why would he do that. Draco doesn't do something this far, He promised me he wouldn't do something like that beacuse I heard him talking like this years before with his friends and I was extremely disappointed and made him promise to me. But now.

I qqs about to speak when I saw Draco's lips moced and a spell but it was taken away and a heavier voice spoke.

We all looked to see Professor Moody with his usual frowned face. He had turned Draco into a white ferret.

“Did he get you?” Moody growled. His voice was low and gravelly.

“No,” said Harry, “missed.”

“LEAVE IT!” Moody shouted, jerking his thumb over his shoulder at Crabbe, who had just frozen, about to pick up the white ferret. It seemed that Moody’s rolling eye was magical and could see out of the back of his head.

Moody started to limp toward Crabbe, Goyle, and the ferret,
which gave a terrified squeak and took off, streaking toward the
dungeons.

“I don’t think so!” roared Moody, pointing his wand at the ferret
again — it flew ten feet into the air, fell with a smack to the floor, and then bounced upward once more.

“I don’t like people who attack when their opponent’s back’s
turned,” growled Moody as the ferret bounced higher and higher, squealing in pain. “Stinking, cowardly, scummy thing to
do. . . .”

The ferret flew through the air, its legs and tail flailing helplessly.

“Never — do — that — again —” said Moody, speaking each word as the ferret hit the stone floor and bounced upward again.

“Professor Moody!” said a shocked voice.

Professor McGonagall was coming down the marble staircase with her arms full of books.

“Hello, Professor McGonagall,” said Moody calmly, bouncing the ferret still higher.

“What — what are you doing?” said Professor McGonagall, her eyes following the bouncing ferret’s progress through the air.

“Teaching,” said Moody.

“Teach — Moody, is that a student?” shrieked Professor McGonagall, the books spilling out of her arms.

“Yep,” said Moody.

“No!” cried Professor McGonagall, running down the stairs and pulling out her wand; a moment later, with a loud snapping noise, Draco Malfoy had reappeared, lying in a heap on the floor with his sleek blond hair all over his now brilliantly pink face.

He got to his feet, wincing.

“Moody, we never use Transfiguration as punishment!”said Professor McGonagall weakly. “Surely Professor Dumbledore told
you that?”

“He might’ve mentioned it, yeah,” said Moody, scratching his
chin unconcernedly, “

Draco, whose pale eyes were still watering with pain and humiliation, looked malevolently up at Moody and muttered something in which the words “my father” were distinguishable.

“Oh yeah?” said Moody quietly, limping forward a few steps, the
dull clunk of his wooden leg echoing around the hall. “Well, I know your father of old, boy. . . . You tell him Moody’s keeping a close eye on his son . . . you tell him that from me. . . . Now, your Head of House’ll be Snape, will it?"

"Yes"

Moody smirked grabbing Deaco's arm and dragged him out of the hall. Draco looked at me then looked down, he knows what he has done.

I sighed.

"This is your friend Maddy." The twins said.
