Some books are harder to write than others, and for us, To Outwit an Angel was over a year of blood, sweat, and tears. But it's here, it's out. So many times, we thought this book might never reach the surface, but now we're here.
So... let's talk about the future of this account for a moment. We've been through above a year and a half of constant work for LatestParis_Style. Naturally, we're tired. We need a break. When are we coming back? Who knows? Maybe never.
BUT!
That's being needlessly dramatic. We'll stay active on the account. We'll still reply to all you lovely people whenever we can. And the one shot collection might get updated on occasion. We also have one more (possible) project for Phantom right now. Working title: Adventures of a Broadway Nepo Baby. This project has a giant "maybe" seal over it right now, and if it does happen, it will almost definitely be a Beth-solo project.
Not everything is a maybe, though— We swear! Time for some confirmed announcements!
Surprise! @LatestPanem_Style exists! We've been sitting on this Hunger Games-centric account for a while. Beth has a really, really long fic lined up (a passion project, really. More information on that at a later date). It's called From Coal to Ember, and surprise! The first chapters will be up on January 3rd, 2025. On top of that, Samantha might be publishing some accompanying one shots to this "passion project." We hope to see you all there!
Looking for some original fiction? We have that in the works too! Might I suggest @Bookish_Beth to you? I have a trilogy lined up, titled The Ladies of Greensleeves. Book No. 1 will come out September 3rd, 2025. The series begins in 1580 and takes us through Elizabethan England, as seen by the eyes of men and women who are only recorded in history by one anonymous song. It would really mean the world to me if anyone gave the original fiction a shot. This is my first time sharing non-fanfic on a scale this public. Crossing my fingers that it goes well!
At the moment, those are all the announcements we have! These new avenues are really exciting for us, and we'd love for you to join us in exploring them! Even if your interest in our writing ends at LatestParis_Style, we treasure all the amazing memories you hilarious, creative readers have shared with us.
