Clary was sat at the kitchen table. Eating breakfast awkwardly. Noticing bruises on clay's face , shocking her .
"Are you giving me a silent treatment ?" Matt asked her brother . "Shouldn't it be the other way around ?"
"I'm just eating breakfast ." Clary signed . Eating her breakfast silently.
"You disappeared again." Matt stated. "There are consequences when you disappear,"
"I didn't disappear for fucksake , I was at a friend's house." Clay said.
Clary furrowed her brows with an . "Are you serious." Look.
"A friend who beat you senseless?" Questioned Matt.
"I told you , I wiped out on my bike." Clay lied through his teeth.
"What ? Did you land on Mike Tyson ?" Matt asked .
"Look who just pulled up outside." Lainie said as she walked into the kitchen. Returning from her morning run.
Tony following in behind her.
"TT." Clary said with a smile and he gave her a small one back. "Sup , little dove."
"Tony , good morning." Matt greets.
"Good morning."
"Thought Tony would like to join us for breakfast." Lainie said as she grabbed a glass of water "We can all catch up. Maybe talk about your depositions tomorrow."
"That would be great."
"Tony doesn't have time." Clay said and Clary's brows furrowed .
"Clay !" Their mom calls out to her son . Clary signed in annoyance. "Just one normal breakfast." She spoke in annoyance .
Matt smiled softly and kissed his daughter's forehead making her smile slightly as Lainie laughed silently.
