[The divine spirits of the world are pleased by the gathering of constellations who are watching this world.]

(Hey author, is this you being excited cause you got some readers? You truly are a child)

[The divine spirits doesn't want to ruin their mood by arguing with an undesirable mortal]

(Suit yourself)

Everyone was getting their document checked and everything about the candidate was thoroughly inspected to ensure that the candidate is authentic and not an imposter trying to get in the academy with some ulterior motive.

I don't think as a Crossman I would have to worry about this at all. My household has a very long history and we are very powerful among this generation. All these formalities are for the bottom feeders. They should be thankful that a future savior is even bothering to playing along. I should just tell them who I am and get it done with.

Ryan went forward clearly cutting the line and said to the staff sitting behind the window "I am from the Crossman Household, just get your formalities done and let me enter the academy."

The guy who was sitting behind the window was a middle aged man with baggy eyes and reading glasses supported over his nose bridge looked up and scanned Ryan from top to bottom with his unenthusiastic eyes and then looked at the red and blue parrot inside his cabin who was sitting on a bird pole and said "Did he take the token from counter No.1 Archimedes?"

"No, he just barged in while cutting the line." The parrot replied in a hoarse voice expected from a bird.

"You broke two rules, first you cut the line and second you wasted my time. That's twenty pages worth of written apology and then you will be allowed to proceed further after inspection. Write it before lunch time otherwise it will double, then go to counter no. 1, get that apology approved, collect your token from there and wait accordingly for your turn" the staff didn't look interested in Ryan anymore and again started writing something on a paper with a quill in hand which he was doing before.

Ryan was too stunned to speak, he was the chosen one but this is how he was getting treated and he even came from one of the most prestigious families. He will not simply back down.

"Maybe you have a hard time hearing sir but I am from THE Crossman Family. You cannot simply make me do all of this." Ryan insisted.

"Son, I am simply not paid enough to keep up with all this. And I don't care if you are a Crossman. Rules are rules. Now go back and come back with thirty pages of apology for wasting my time again." The staff replied and tried to work again surrounded by the heaps of paper work. This guy clearly was overworked.

"BUT!" Ryan shouted.

The staff guy interrupted him "You are not the first person who is flaunting your family status and you will probably not be the last. If you turn around and watch closely the fifth guy in this queue is the imperial prince and he is holding 70 pages worth of apology and now you will be submitting 40 of them. Now leave" the staff guy simply shut Ryan down with this statement because in his overwhelming arrogance he didn't watch the people around him closely and didn't notice the prince in the queue.

Ryan turned around defeated and went to follow the instructions of the staff guy. Suddenly he saw Gerhman walking towards him or specifically the window behind him.

"You should probably run faster towards the counter No.1 or you would have to wait for a very long time because the line is getting longer." And he passed me after saying this. I followed suit and went to get my token. Around 50 people were waiting for their turn to get the token and I spotted many of the heirs from prestigious households waiting for their turn. Most of them were holding stacks of papers presumed to be apology written by them. So the staff didn't lie when he said I was not the first person to be pulling this stunt off. My embarrassment from before subsided by watching, that I was not the only one who tried to abuse his status.

About two hours later I got my inspection done and got my documents verified.

(I think some of the readers have also suffered from this scenario of waiting for their turn. I simply hate these official tasks. But the MC got what he deserved lol)

[The divine spirits are feeling a chill after recalling something similar from the past]

Finally, just past this gate awaits my new life of academy. And here we go-

*shaaaam*

That was not a simple gate, but a warp gate? Where are we? Where were we teleported? We were in something close to a open field surrounded by dark walls with very grand architecture, the field was covered in grass, there was a black towering castle right in front of us but it felt so unfamiliar. I looked around, this did look like an academy but the sky simply was different here. There were no birds and it was covered with dark clouds. There was no sunshine.

Other students also look confused. I spotted Gerhman standing far away looking uninterested. Was he not impressed?

Suddenly, an old looking man with a white long beard and a monocle on his right eye walked from the castle assumed to be the academy towards us. As he was descending the stairs I got a closer look of him. He was wearing a long robe gray in color and a point hat of similar shade on his head. The air around him gave a feeling of wisdom attained through centuries worth of experience. And the most striking thing about him were his eyes which looked white at first glance but were closer the shade of green.

(Hey author, is he the DUMBLEDORE of this academy. This is the character you gave birth to? Did he come out of your metaphorical ass? Bruh, put in some work or the reader might drop this novel. And even I don't want that. The only proof of my existence and life are the readers that are witnessing this novel if they drop the novel even I will cease to exist. Author, please don't be his name Dumbledore otherwise even I don't know what I will do)

The mysterious man cleared his throat and spoke in a booming voice clearly amplified with magic "Welcome to the academy of Arcana young ones where you will be spending your most valuable time of your life and will be utilizing it with its outmost efficiency and will make a name for yourself in the future. I have high hopes for everyone gathered here, I see infinite potential in you all ....blah blah

(Author, fucking fast forward it and reach the name part)

"I am the Dean of this academy, who has taken care of Arcana for the last three decades. And you can call me...

(Don't be Dumbledore, Don't be Dumbledore)

"Voldemort"

(MOTHERFUCKERRR!!!)

The Dean continued "Now everyone should go to counter no.2 when they enter the academy and collect their token and then after verification process you all will be allotted rooms in your respected hostels. Kindly wait for your turn and follow the rules. Any violations will be dealt with accordingly. Now disperse." And then he vanished from his spot.

"motherfucker..." Ryan mumbled to himself after hearing the last part.

Can't I die and get revived skipping maybe two hours or even an hour will suffice? I have regressed already so trying this won't hurt ... right?

*sigh* Here we go again.

Ryan moved towards counter no.2 like everyone else looking defeated and waited for his turn to come.
