It's the usual, bad boy x good girl. Or is it?
Duncan Tarun is your predictable bad boy. He messes around, is a player, gets detentions, the usual.
Courtney Satella, in the other hand, is a stubborn, smart and independent girl who wouldn't ever thi...
Hey, I never really noticed, but Courtney's eyes are so beautiful. Her beautiful, deep, onyx ey- okay, now I admit it. Maybe I am down bad for Courtney.
I'm in love with the loud, annoying, fearless, hot Courtney. Damn. I didn't see that coming.
I mean, Heather, Miss funniest, loudest, not-afraid-to-voice-her opinion, told me that we, quote, 'would be the hottest new couple in school.'
'Oh, please Courtney! Give me a chance! Just one date!' said the punk. 'No, no, and no, Duncan. I'm not going on a date with you!'
The two had been arguing, lashing back and forth, punk on his knees and begging. The CIT softened her heart a little, and felt like she should give him a chance. If she didn't, it wouldn't be fair. And, to be a CIT and a future lawyer meant to be fair.
Which meant, she would need to give him a chance.
Dammit.
'Alright then, Duncan, I'll give you a chance. So don't screw it up' the CIT said, adding a tone of annoyance in her voice. Before she turned around and walked her confident model-like strut, she thought. How bad could one date possibly go?
And honestly, should she do this stuff more often?
The punk smirked. He didn't think she would say yes, but hey, he wasn't complaining! 'Meet me at Muskoka Beach Park at 3pm in 4 days Princess.' ( looked that up) 'And dress casual, don't think I haven't seen you wearing all of that fancy shit' he added.
DUNCAN POV:
I can not screw this up. I don't even have a plan. What am I gonna do?
There's only one solution. Her friends.
Lucky for me, my best buds Alejandro and Geoff, are the boyfriends of Courtney's two best friends. Maybe one day, we could go on tri- okay, ew. Even for me, ew. (why am I writing him like he was in tdas hes so out of character😭)
I go to Heather and Bridgette, as they were both in my homeroom.
'Hey there ladies, I have a favour to ask you two' I say. Heather gives me a dirty look and says, 'What do you want you green ass highlighter aren't you supposed to be making out with Gwen or something?'
My heart sinks.
I hadn't told anyone about our breakup except for DJ, the sweetest mama's boy you will ever meet.
Everybody, including Heather, Miss Spoiled Rich Daddy's Girl, (I'll thank LeShawna for that wonderful nickname) as people call her, love him for that reason. He was the only one I could have the strength to cry to when Gwen broke up with me.
I'm surprised. I smirk my signature smirk, and say, 'Okay, look. I have somehow scored a date with Princess, so I need your help. What does she like?'
I ask, hoping they would tell me. But, all Bridgette said was, 'Courtney barely told us about her dates. All she said was that Scott's ones were so boring, and she hated sand, as Scott used to do like picnics and farm visits and whatnot.'
I've come to a conclusion: Her friends are useless.
But hey, at least the things Bridgette told me where somewhat useful. I'm gonna take her on a date somewhere she'll never forget.
The arcade.
I mean, how bad could it possibly go? Maybe she might actually enjoy it. The arcade, I mean. Not the making out after. But hey, you never know. She might enjoy both. (duncan fr be having an ego bigger than his di- on with the story!!)
