Daryl Dixon Series:
Season 3, Episode 7

Michelle woke up on the bed after she had cried herself to sleep earlier. She groaned while sitting up and rubbing her eyes. Her head ached a little bit as she noticed the bedroom was dark. Michelle turned the lamp on that was on the nightstand before looking at the window and seeing that it was dark outside.

Michelle got up to her feet and walked over to the window, wondering how long she had slept. Michelle closed the curtains before glancing at the clock on the wall and saw that it was 11pm. Michelle grabbed her backpack and took out a can of food before sitting down on the bed. She glanced over at the closet remembering that she put the guitar in there so that she didn't have to see it. She sighed sadly as she opened the canned food and started eating slowly.

''Miss you, Daryl.'' Michelle whispered as a tear rolled down her face.

The Bunker.
''Miss you, Jukebox.'' Daryl whispered as he stared at Michelle's acoustic guitar on the metal table.

Daryl was sitting at the table finishing up cleaning his last bolt with his red cloth. He placed the bolt down next to the other bolts before dropping the red cloth next to them. The guitar was next to his crossbow and Daryl started to remember how he taught Michelle to fire his crossbow. He smiled as he remembered how she cheered when she finally hit the target.

Then Daryl remembered something else that made him smile.

*Flashback*
It was one afternoon and Michelle was playing her guitar and singing for the pets and they fell asleep.

''Never seen Dog fall asleep so fast.'' Daryl admitted as he and Michelle sat on the couch.

''Dog & Ben don't sleep as much as normal dogs used to.'' Michelle said. ''Especially when they're trained to help and protect.''

''Yeah.'' Daryl agreed.

''Alright, your turn.'' Michelle said, making Daryl look at her a bit confused.

''To do what?'' Daryl asked.

''Play me something.'' Michelle said trying to hand the guitar to him.

''Nah, I don't play.'' Daryl said.

''Have you ever tried?'' Michelle asked.

''Nah.'' Daryl said.

''I can teach you.'' Michelle smiled.

''Nah, it's alright.'' Daryl smiled.

''Alright, Dixon. I'll make you a deal.'' Michelle said and Daryl looked at her. ''I'll teach you a few chords and then you teach me how to shoot your crossbow.''

Daryl thought about it a little bit. He had asked her to try out his crossbow a few times, but she didn't want to and now was his chance if she was willing to.

''Alright.'' Daryl said after a minute. ''Ya got a deal, Silvera.''

''Cool.'' Michelle smiled and handed the guitar to Daryl.

Daryl placed the guitar on his lap and leaned forward to get comfortable sitting on the couch. Michelle helped him place his fingers on the right strings to play an A minor chord.

''Gotta press hard with the tips of your fingers but keep your wrist relaxed.'' Michelle said as she placed her hand on his wrist. ''Alright, now you strum with the other hand.''

''Not sure about the pace.'' Daryl said.

''Whatever you're comfortable with.'' Michelle said. ''Here, let me help.''
