I just wanted to say thank you to all the persons who have read and voted for my book so far. I really appreciate it but it would be nice if you could comment so I can know exactly what you think and reply.

Happy reading!

"Ugh. I'm so thirsty. Who would have know that deception could stir up such a thirst," I mumbled to myself.

Poor poor Chad. I hope he has to sleep in a dumpster tonight. Or maybe not.

I felt a little guilty for leaving him behind but it's not like I could turn back anyway I was stuck. It was kinda his fault anyway. He had been pestering me for months now, something was bound to go down. I guess that's why karma was slapping me in the face at that moment.

Unfortunately, I was still on my way to the beach house. There was an accident on the main road which had cause quite a lot of traffic. No one died though. It was quite a relief.

Sitting in a car without it moving was a bit frustrating. For an hour, I had only move three car spaces up. Not to mention the rumbling of my stomach which was very hard to ignore, due to my skipping of lunch. So to reduce my irritation, I was jamming to Bad Blood and playing Candy crush, because I always had to do more than one thing at a time. I got easily bored. Sadly, anidy crush wasn't helping, I had been stuck at that dumb level for days.

Thankfully, after a few minutes, the traffic started to dwindle and I was able to make it to the beach house in ten minutes.

I parked my car and stretched a little, looking down on the beach where everyone was hanging out. There was a few people standing around the grill while a few were scrolling on the beach and swimming .

Knowing Tyler, I thought it would be a big barbecue with alot of people present but it seemed to be just a few persons.

I made my way down to the beach, heading straight for the grill without looking for any of my friends because I was that hungry. I know we've all did this at some point in our lives, putting food before our friends.

"Hey can I get a ham burger and some grilled fries please," I said, trying not to drool on the grill.

"Sure," the guy manning the grill said. "But you have to wait a little. These guys were here before you," he grinned, gesturing to the people I completely blocked out.

I cried inside. Personally I wanted to just pluck his eyeballs out at that moment. Didn't he see the desperation in my eyes? Or heard the growling of my belly? I couldn't tell. He kept grinning like a loony clown on ecstasy while making burgers and hot dogs for the other non starving persons who were depriving me of my morsel of fulfillment.

I was also itching to just grab one of the burgers and make a run for it. After all I was dying from the inside out. And no one I repeat no one should come between me and my food. We were lovers forever, soulmates for life and partners in crime. We won't have kids though. I don't like sharing, I'm sure we can all testify to that.

"Go with happiness." the guy said smiling widely while handing the burger and fries to me.

"Umm okay?" I reached for the food awkwardly while wondering why on earth did he just quote a line from Insurgent.

He kept grinning at me like he expected me to reply.I chuckled, trying to dissolve the awkwardness while taking out the tomatoes out of my burger.

I coughed."Thanks where can I get something to drink?" The grin weirdly, was still plastered to his face. He pointed to the makeshift counter, that I missed entirely before when entering.

"Oh thanks," I said and left without waiting for a reply.
Amity freak

The counter or bar had a lot of choices, varying from milkshakes smoothies and alcoholic beverages. There were also a few snacks and candies, even a fancy looking espresso machine and a popcorn machine. I decided I wanted a milkshake because it would go well with my burger.
