Happy reading!

"Well this is it." He parked and jumped out of the car and rushed around to my side and opened the door before I could.

I smiled. "Thank you."

"That's me the gentle man of the gentliest," he said while giving me a bow.

I giggled. He reached for my hand and held it tightly and I let him. We walked down to the beach when he suddenly made a turn to a huge beach house that was on a little hill from the beach.

"This area of the beach is private. The Hamptons' family own it."

"Hampton's?" I was now curious. I've heard the name before. I just couldn't remember where.

"Yea my family and the Hamptons do business together. Don't you know Tyler? Tyler Hampton?"

I went from curious to deranged.

"Oh hell no!" I stormed back up the beach without saying a word while Caleb rushed to catch up.

"What's wrong? You have an issue with Tyler?"

"ISSUE!" I roared. He flinched and took a step back. "He's the one with the issue. In fact he's in need of intense therapy!"

"Calm down Avril. You might burst a blood vessel," he said pulling me into a hug. I sighed, relishing in the comfort he was giving me. I really needed it.

"As much as I don't want to see you get hurt. There's a slim chance you'll see him. Its a big party," he said, rocking me to and fro. It was soothing.

"So I think we shouldn't leave. At least stay for a few hours. And if you do see him, show him what he's missing."

I giggled and we made our way back up the hill.

"Ooooh," roared the crowd that had form around the pool table.

Caleb loss again.

I was winning like crazy. Too bad I was too scared to gamble with these guys and Caleb. If I had known they were such novices at pool I would be a thousand dollars richer. Boomer

"Remind me to never play pool with you again. I'm glad you decided to not bet. I would have lost all my money by now and have traded my nuts for cash."

I laughed and pat his back with mock pity. We decided to take a break and simply watch the guys play off for third and fourth.

"Let's go get you something to drink, my lady.

"Why Sir Williams such the gentleman." I batted my eyelash and he laughed.

We were now in the den, watching some guys playing Call of duty while Caleb and I sat and had a drink, just relaxing.

"So its just you and your mom right?"

"Yup I'm an only child. My mom and dad divorced last year and she wanted a change. So here I am," I shrugged.

"Oh so do you like California so far?" He bounced me playfully.

"Actually I do. I meet Channing Tatum yesterday. I almost melted to a puddle," I sighed dreamily.

"What?! I'm sexier than Channing Tatum."

"No way! On a scale of 1-10, you're hotter that him by -5."

He looked outrageous and started to fake cry. I laughed uncontrollable, while Caleb used an imaginary tissue to blow his nose.

"Dude grow a pair," someone shouted from across the room and he simply flipped them off.
