'Fresh wind... you don't get to experience this type of weather at the clinic.'
"The pressure of being caught entering and leaving the city is tense as always." He overheard one of the men say as they trudged through the snow. "Fortunately you're quite helpful, right boss?"
"I wouldn't say that." F/N smiled. "My only job is to help bring you all up and down with my Arts." When Katenka and the others first arrived at the city, they entered legally meaning they had to go through inspection, interrogation, and so forth... He does wonder how the procedure went but all he knows is they managed to successfully arrive here.
"Without your help, we would have needed to find another way to enter and leave the city without causing suspicion. Getting up to the city and getting down the city is easy when you use your wind Arts to help us."
"Arts is quite the convenient tool... I wish I could have an Arts like yours." Katenka said with a smile as she thought of the conveniences that his Arts had. "I wish I had Arts in general..." She closed her eyes and hummed.
"You can always learn." One of the men spoke to Katenka.
"Yeah, I know. I think it's finally time for me to learn Arts." She had gone ahead and said. "Some of my brothers and sisters have learned... I'm just part of the ones who haven't learned yet."
F/N watched as they talked with a smile on his face as he remained quiet. He listened while thinking about what they said about his wind "Arts". Leaving and entering the city constantly was a problem he had taken into account. He had also taken into account how sending Patriot his supplies would work. Leaving in and out of the city may cause suspicion against the guards followed by the fact he can't hide the boxes carrying the elixirs. Being found out and questioned about the elixirs, things would go south.
The alternative route to entering and exiting the city was to do things illegally. That means using his wind magic as a way to jump down from such a high place without injury by making him float down instead. To get up to Chernobog, he would fly up by having his wind act as a wind current.
With Katenka and the others talking, he remains quiet as he wonders what the future may hold. He's been thinking like this ever since he had created his very first partnership in this world followed by his situation at Chernobog.
With the coming year nearing, the calendar will once again reset. The year 1086 is coming to an end. And the year 1087 is entering. Chernobog has been quite a rough experience, from renovating the ruined pharmacy, making elixirs, treating people, and then having to move away to a safer location at the Azazel Clinic. Honestly, what a tiring time in the city.
Who knows how long he'll continue his partnership with both Hellagur and Patriot... There are other places to be, and he feels like he's been doing a pretty good job at Chernobog helping the infected there. He also has to thank Hellagur for the housing space, even though it's crowded, the clinic helps people stay in one place without dealing with the cold or hot weather.
Even then, his magic also worked as a way to keep those comfortable. He raised his head slightly as he gazed at the sky. He'll have to think of his next move in the meantime. He plans on staying for a few more months... maybe an entire year even.
He's traveled through countless places. These past ten years were quite the experience. The world is a big place truly. Traveling on foot as well has kept him in slow progress but nevertheless, progress is progress.
He just has to figure out what his next step will be. He looked on with a small smile as he saw snowflakes beginning to fall.
"It started snowing! We should quicken our pace before we get hit by a snowstorm!" Katenka's voice was alarmed by the sound of it.
