"I brought you some coffee... also some food."

"Thanks."

He sat alone in his tent as he looked up with a smile at Yelena. He watched as she put his plate of food and coffee down on the small table from what he was able to perceive despite his blurred surroundings. His pen was still in his hand as he then let it lay against his journal which he had been thinking about writing on but gave up because he couldn't see clearly enough to write.

"Cheers." He raised his mug at the girl with a smile as he took a sip. The familiar liquid went down his throat as he felt satisfied with the smell and taste. Placing down the mug, he looked down at his meal as he smelled the aroma it gave off and knew what it was. "Nothing can ever go wrong with meat. Some good protein, iron, and so forth." He said with a light tone.

"..."

He had been unconscious for the entire day after helping Yelena and the following day as well. Today, he had finally gained consciousness once again. He woke up in the afternoon and he had noticed a few things.

His vision was the first thing he noticed. His vision had deteriorated to an extreme extent. Even with his glasses, they didn't help one bit so he had decided not to wear them in the meantime.

The second thing he noticed was that he was able to see through only his left eye. That is because there were bandages wrapped around his head and over his right eye. Even then, he still can't see much. But it's better to see blurs than nothing.

From what he had been informed, during his time unconscious. His right eye would begin to bleed out of nowhere. A few minutes after he woke up, he even felt the feeling of his right eye bleeding under the bandages.

The sclera on his left eye was red as he had broken a blood vessel on it as well. Unlike his bandaged right eye, he doesn't bleed out of it.

He's still confused as to why the broken blood vessels didn't regenerate themselves quickly due to his regeneration speed or why his vision worsened and didn't heal as well. Broken blood vessels don't affect your vision. The symptoms only lead to having mild irritation of wanting to scratch your eye. And you shouldn't feel much pain in all honesty.

Naturally, he would have healed these injuries after a while but it's taking a relatively normal amount of time from the looks of it.

Broken blood vessels in the eyes take around two weeks to recover.

He had tested out his regenerative abilities when he was left alone a few hours back when he first woke up. He had inflicted some injuries on himself and yet looking at himself now, they were healed.

His regeneration is still here but yet his eye problem didn't heal.

Going back to his vision problems. It's possible that those symptoms he's currently facing can't heal quickly due to the backlash of his mana. That's the only speculation he can think of if he still has regeneration yet his vision and blood vessels didn't recover quickly.

He can continue pondering later. His focus turned down to the blurry plate as he began moving around his hand on the table. "Where's that fork and knife now...?" He searched for the utensils as he grimaced a bit.

His current state sucks.

"Here..." Yelena grabbed the fork from where she had left and placed it on F/N's hand. "You didn't get a knife because it wasn't needed. Your meal was cut up into pieces for you so you won't have to struggle due to your vision..."

"I see." He hummed as he grasped the fork in his hand. "Nobody had to do that. I could have done it myself."

"But you would be struggling." Yelena frowned.
