"I see you both finished talking."

"Yes."

"And it looks like you gave him an answer?"

"Yes."

"... Was it out of your own validation?"

"... Yes. I put my entire trust in him. Just this once. Perhaps, even more than once I'll put it all on him."

"I see..."

Father and Daughter looked at one another in silence.

The weather increased in intensity. It was hard to see with the fluttering snow obscuring his vision. Despite that, these small changes didn't stop the parent and child from facing one another.

Watching by the sidelines, he proceeded to remove his glasses and wipe the lenses with a cloth he pulled out of his pocket. Weather like this irritates him. From snow or water getting on the lenses, dirtying your view, and becoming a nuisance of sorts.

"Gah... serious pain in the ass." He huffed as he finished cleaning his glasses for now before they got dirty again by the weather. He saw both father and daughter look at him. "Sorry! Don't mind me while you two are having your moment!" He told them as he mumbled a whole bunch of unintelligible words under his breath, damning the weather. He then put his glasses back on.

He then felt a slight flick on his head. "Ouch." He rubbed his forehead where he got flicked by Patriot. "What was that for...?" Seriously, that kinda hurt.

"Do watch your mouth in front of my daughter."

Oh.

"Sorry sir..." With an apology at hand, he rubbed the back of his head clumsily. Patriot may be a leader and strong. But Patriot is also a father. And Yelena is still a child.

"Father..." Yelena sighed at her father's actions. Disapproving of the man babying her at F/N's "foul" words.

"So..." F/N coughed into his fist as he looked at the two. A natural smile bloomed on his face. "How about getting ready to move away from this place to begin?" He focused on Yelena.

"Mm..." Yelena nodded at his words as she was ready to leave.

"Good." He nodded at her words. "And you?" He looked at Patriot.

"Naturally."

"... What?" Yelena widened her eyes as she looked at her father. "You're coming with us?"

"He's your father. Naturally, he'd be coming with us to oversee in any case anything were to happen." F/N explained. "Who am I to deny his request? Either way, I think this option is for the best as well. You don't know what can happen if it's just the two of us."

"What are you implying? I thought you had full faith in your abilities?" Yelena asked with suspicion. "Did I misplace my trust in you?"

"No. I wasn't talking about that." F/N waved off her question without much care. "We'll be away from everyone. It's best to be safe. You don't know if we might get ambushed so Patriot is there to protect us. If we get attacked while we're in the middle of the process, then there won't be a guaranteed way to protect ourselves."

"I see." Yelena didn't say anything further.

"Well then, let's get going." No time to waste, as they say.

-~-

"Ready?" His right hand was firmly holding Yelena's shoulder. With his left hand, he grabs hold of his right shoulder. He stood behind her as he took a glance over at Patriot who observed nearby.
