"Yall wanna go get ice cream?" I ask the group when we are all in the locker room.
I hear many different yeses, so we all load up into our cars driving to the nearest ice cream shop.
I probably should have invited Evelina and Cameron, but something in me really needs to stay away from Eve. I just can't get my thoughts straight.
When we get inside it takes a second for us all to get our ice cream, but when we do we are sat outside.
"Yo P? You good?" Aaliyah asks.
"Yeah I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?"
"You just zoned out for a second."
"Oh." I adjust myself in my seat so I can pay more attention to the team even though my thoughts keep wondering back to her.
"Can I try?" Nika asks pointing her spoon at me.
I move my ice cream towards her grabbing hers in return.
"Oh this is good." She says with ice cream still in her mouth.
"Yours is alright." I respond handing it back and she gives me a look.
After everyone is finished I head back to my dorm with others.

As im sitting on the couch watching TikTok Aubrey comes and sits next to me.
"What's up with you?"
"What do you mean? Nothing?" I pause the TikTok I watching.
"I'm not sure, I've just noticed you have been acting different. is it because of Evelina?"
"Pfft.. what? I don't even know her."
"Well you should have seen yourself with her earlier."
Oh god.
"What did I look like."
"I'll let you figure it out."
"Huh? Aubrey what does that mean?" She got up from the couch not responding.
"Aubrey what does that mean!?" I groan throwing my head back.
I can't go back to TikTok because I'm stuck on what Aubrey said. What did she mean?? It's driving me insane.
"Cam invited us to the arcade tomorrow. Wanna come?" Nika says walking in the room.
The arcade is random but why not, I have nothing better to do.
"Sure that sounds fun."

Paige was very excited for tomorrow even if it wasn't showing, she was just happy because maybe she would see Eve.
After another hour of mindless scrolling Paige gets up for bed.
She says goodnight to everyone else locking herself in her room.
I mean she didn't actually lock the door but you get it.
As Paige lie in bed that night she caught herself thinking about Eve.
The way she carried herself and the energy that filled the room when she was in it.
The pull that the girl had on Paige was magnetic. When she was around her she just wanted the world to stop so they could just talk.
She doesn't even know if Eve would consider Paige a friend, but she wants to be friends with her.
Before she can sink into sleep Paige is replaying the moments from that day.
The way Eve looked while she took off her jewelry and put her hair up. The way she played basketball in the wrong clothes but still managed to do good.
She was familiar yet so far away. If only Paige could just talk to her and figure out who this girl really is.
