It's finally Friday and I just clocked out from work. I'm glad I only work 4 days a week instead of 5. I've barely seen anyone all week. Since I work 8-5 everyday normally everybody is at work by the time I get home since they work second shift. I'm already asleep by the time they get home too.
Ding ding, my phone sounds pulling me out of my thoughts. It's Mia in a group message with everybody. "Let's go out tonight!" As tired as I am a night out sounds so good. "I'm totally down." I send back in the chat. As soon as I pull into the driveway I go straight to the shower. I decide to curl my hair and put it half up half down. With long sparkly earrings. Doing my makeup naturally with clear lip gloss. I put on a black strapless dress that has a hole in the stomach. It's a little short but it'll do. Pairing it with a pair of adidas black and white shoes so I can still dance. "J are you ready yet, we want to go party it's already 8!" Chloe yells from downstairs.
"Coming!!" I yell back. Thing my last shoe lace and grabbing my purse. I walk down the stairs everybody waiting on me by the front door. "Wow that's a body!" Chloe says as Mia is whistling at me. I can feel my face turn bright red. "Stop it. Let's go!" I say looking down at myself. I do look really hot.
We all climb into axels truck making our way to the club about 10 minutes away. As soon as we get in I order myself a Long Island and find a table. "How was everybody's week, I don't see you guys at all!" I say with sad puppy eyes. "You know what you could do? Come work with us! We're hiring and we'd be able to see you all the time. We make good tips. Probably about $1,000 a week in just tips." Mia and Skylar together.
"Hmmm I'll think about it. I don't like my job but I make good money." I say. Contemplating what to do. "What do you even do?" Jack asks me.
"I work at a company. I'm just an assistant. I take calls make appointments. The boring stuff. A typical girl job." I say.
"Okay let's dance!" Chloe screams over the loud music that started blaring. Sounds like 'yeah' by usher. I down my Long Island and get up to go dance with the other girls.
I'm moving my hops to the sound of the music. Singing along when a guy comes up and starts grinding on me. He's cute. Has a scruffy look to him. He's built has dark hair with brown eyes. I dance with him for a while. I think about 3 songs play through but at this point I'm buzzed. I walk away to get another drink. "Hey where are you going. We aren't done." The man says as he grips my wrist a little too tight for comfort.
"Let go dude." I yell at him.
Axels pov :
When everybody goes out I'm usually the DD. I don't want to see anybody get hurt so I just watch over everybody while sipping on one beer the whole night. It really doesn't bother me. Chloe and Jack are dancing together. Mia and Skylar are dancing together. Jacquelyn, a guy has a hold of her wrist and won't let go. I stand up and practically run over. I grab his arm and yank it off of her. "Don't ever touch her like that again." I say with so much force the guy doesn't even fight back he just walked away. I stayed staring at him until he was out of my view.
"Thank you." Jacquelyn says to me. Why is she thanking me anybody should've done that for her. I hate what she has on. She looks too hot to be out like this. Wait why do I even care? It's not like I like the girl. I barely know her. I don't care if she dances with another guy. It's not my business. I just walk away before I say something to hurt her feelings.
Jacquelyn's pov
That was weird. He didn't even say you're welcome. Or to tell me to be more careful just walks away. Oh well I'm drunk anyway. I go get another Long Island and 2 shots of tequila. The shots were gone before my Long Island was even made. I really need to let loose. Bzzz bzzz. I feel my phone vibrating. Derek again. "Leave me alone dude. You got the papers just sign them and move on." I slur out hanging up the phone. I'm so sick of seeing his name pop up on my phone. I just need a new number. That's on my checklist for tomorrow. Get a new number I type into my cell phone to remind me tomorrow since I know I won't remember by myself.
