"I want to cry", Jieun dramatically slumped herself on the couch.

Surely practices were difficult but more than that, those stupid upcoming exams were getting on her nerves more. Jia's friends had called her today to inform her about the quiz this Saturday.

Her body was already aching from all those practices till the point that she couldn't do it for much longer. Being a main dancer you have to put all your emotions in those moves, it was expected that the main dancers should convey their feelings from their dance more than the other members.

Not to mention there should never be a sight of exhaustion on your face even though your body needs nothing more than rest. Trainee life was for sure difficult but being an idol can never be compared to it. There is so much more the idols need to do for their fan service.

She glanced at the other girls, Satsuki and Lina were leaning their head on Yena's shoulder with their arms around her from both sides, Daehee practically threw herself beside Jieun and Eunha sprawled her body on the floor in tiredness.

Jia tore her gaze away from her members, focusing on the staff and choreographers who were harshly scrutinising them for their every move.

Jia used to think would she ever be able to match the energy of the group, they were basically perfect in everything before she joined them. Them being trainees for a much longer time surely had advantages, they had a much longer experience of performing on stages.

There were times when her fear took over her and she used to do so much worse than she had practised during their monthly evaluation but those reasons weren't enough for her to sit and cry over it forever.

She wasn't a petty person who would just give up because of some small mistakes. It took so much effort to have the confidence, communication skills she had now and she won't let that go in vain.

People should know how to prioritise things as per the situation and not let some stupid comments and criticism affect them.

Life sure wasn't fair for everyone, she still thinks about the trainee who was supposed to debut instead of her. She knew she wasn't at fault but couldn't help but feel guilty towards her. Her hard work, she had put all her life into becoming an idol from such a young age, sacrificing her whole life, her childhood for her dream to become true but still.......here Jia was standing, in her supposed position.

Would she ever forgive me?

It was 10.14pm already and they barely took any breaks, continuously practising their parts on repeat. One mistake and the choreographer abruptly stopped the music and commanding to do the whole dance again from the start.

Finally it was time to go home now so that everyone can have a good rest......except her. She still had to practise for the quiz and tonight she was going to have a study session with her friends online.
