Chapter 31. Grandiose Stage | Just One Shot

(A/N: I'm putting this here for multiple reasons. BUT. This is... unironically in my 3 years of writing Fanfics... the FIRST time I ever write something with Momo. Yeah she's a background character and stuff, but as an important character with her arc and stuff?? This is actually the first ever.)

Having been healed and covered in bandages, the greenette simply kept himself sat while looking at the matches of the Sports Festival go down in front of him. Just like expected, some had been completely One-Sided, while others seemed more fair than they seemed at first glance.

Etsudo against Testsutetsu, the Metal Boy from Class 1-B, ended up becoming a match so fair and so equal, that it ended on a perfect tie between one another. It was a fierce fight, one that seemed to be right on the alley of what Etsudo's real behaviour in action tends to be, perhaps she acts cutesy and friendly towards everyone, but Izuku, Denki and Sero know better than anyone that she can be an absolute gremlin and demon in combat.

Katsuki absolutely demolished the hell out of Ochako, it was no surprise to the class that he didn't hold back a single bit, but it was the way he played all of this out that shocked everyone, as he went in the intentions of pushing her to her upmost limit, not stopping until she passed out and not being disrespectful enough to get her out of bounds. He wanted a clean victory and a fitting loss for someone trying their ass off on a combat style they're not used to.

Shoto's fight ended with a quick surrender from Kendo, from the beginning she knew her opportunities to win were next to Zero, but she was willing to still try against the Dual Haired Boy. While she was able to barely land one punch on him that did stun the son of the No. 2 Hero, it wasn't enough to keep him down, as he quickly followed through with incarerating her within his Ice.

Denki's fight against Touya went... not as one-sided as expected, sure Touya ended up winning as expected. But Denki's electric discharge showed itself stunning the white haired boy and almost giving victory to him, but Touya's fire capabilities nearly exploded into a wave of hell the moment he saw Denki try and near him. Some of the heroes and students pointed out that they swore to see something metallic heat up on his face, but no one could tell what.

Hatsume was... well, you all know Mei Hatsume, she only used Iida for her goals of getting sponsors for her career which worked effectively, if it wasn't for the fact she spent from sunset to dusk showing off her inventions to the annoyance of anyone. All of this ended with her walking off the stage, leaving Iida's pride shattered in a million pieces.

But out of all these combats, there was one he was the most interested on over any other. Tokoyami vs Momo, as the winner of this fight, would be his next opponent.

As soon as the sign to start was kicked off, Dark Shadow fired himself out of Momo, looking more massive than usual due to how late in the day it was getting. This raised concerns for many, even the Ponytail Girl who didn't expect the massive change in size due to this, but she should've expected it knowing one thing of his quirk.

"Don't make this hard for yourself, Yaoyorozu. Let's only make this a quick thing."

Tokoyami said, all as Momo rolled across the ground barely dodging the claw of the massive bird shadow connected to her opponent. Her eyes looked around in a panic as she tried her best to not be struck down with ease, but it was hard, Dark Shadow's range was insane, and she still needed a little time to remember how to make what she was planning.

"Even if you put it as a loss, I'm not stopping yet!"

Momo expressed, once more barely dodging the attacks of Dark Shadow, even letting her jump on his arm and run across it to clear way for herself.
