Tyler sat by the cribs of his triplets. Elliot had came in earlier to help him get them to sleep. He was very upset that he couldn't do it himself because he wanted to allow Elliot to have a break. Tears started rolling down his cheeks as he stared at the newborn babies. Why don't I have a bond with them..? He questioned himself. Elliot had an easy time with them, and even Daniel had a close bond since he carried them. Tyler didn't even have a great bond with his little girl.
Elliot could sense something wrong. He made his way to the nursery. He went in, seeing Tyler crying while sitting on the floor. "Ty? what's wrong, love?" He sat down next to him and wrapped his arm around him. Tyler stared at the floor not saying anything. "Tyler look at me, please." Elliot gently turned his head to look at him. "You're doing great." Tyler's lip quivered as he looked into Elliot's eyes. He tried his hardest not to let anymore tears fall. He hated crying. But he couldn't hold it in any longer. He hugged Elliot tightly and sobbed over his shoulder. Elliot rubbed his back gently. They sat there silently for a while til they heard the noises of a newborn waking up. Elliot got up to see which one it was. He smiled then picked up the baby girl. He sat back down with her. "She needs you, Ty." Tyler hesitated, but took her out of Elliot's arms. Nikola opened her eyes to see who was holding her. She couldn't convey her feelings just yet, but Tyler could sense that he was the one she was looking for. He smiled down at her as she fell back asleep. He looked back up at Elliot. "I told you you were doing great."
For context: Nikola is Tyler's biological daughter along with the surrogates egg. The twins, Nathaniel and Noah, are Elliot's biological sons from the same surrogate.
