Lancel came to the Red Keep on orders from the High Sparrow, he was to check on Cersei in her confinement and house arrest while awaiting her trail after her walk of atonement from the Great Sept to the Red Keep. He goes to check on the Setpas who are serving as Cersei's handmaidens during this time. Learning how she spends her days, bathing, and spending time with her son Tommen. Lancel ensures all rules are followed. He goes to Cersei and attempts to give her spiritual comfort and reason with her, but no matter what he does or how much scripture he reads her, the Queen regent was not interested. So after a few hours of attempts he takes his leave, heading back through the halls and corridors of the Red Keep, he knows the way of course he does. He'd spent almost as much time in the Red Keep as he had in Casterly Rock, but he had given up now for the chambers below the sept and the sanctity of the gods' embrace. He walked but stopped short when he heard a familiar sound, he turned to the courtyard where the open air came in. A small bench in the centre where a woman sat.

The Princess, Lillyanna Baratheon. The firstborn of King Robert and Queen Cersei, she was her father's delight and her mother's enemy often forgotten by her brother Joffery. She sat on the bench in her sweet pale yellow dress, her dark hair following down her back as she sat reading a book and humming to herself. Lancel and Lillyanna had been close for most of their lives when he was squire to her father but he hadn't seen her since he joined the faith.

Lancel approached Lillyanna and bowed his head. "My Lady Lillyanna," his voice firm.

Lillyanna looked up and immediately smiled, "Lancel!" She jumped putting her book down and jumping to hug him pressing herself against him, immediately he had to remember his faith vows given this was the first time a woman had touched him in years, "I missed you!"

She was warm, that was his first thought, and her body was much softer than the harshness of the Sept. Yet the Faith was in his mind as well, and he took a step back, trying to separate himself from her embrace. "And I you, my Lady," He said, "I had... hoped for the chance to speak... with you," he said in a careful tone, even as his eyes glanced around the courtyard hoping no one was watching.

"yes, of course, forgive me. I forget you are... A man of the faith now, I didn't mean to be sinful," she blushed fiddling with her fingers as she moved away,

"I am a man of Faith," Lancel said in a firm tone even if part of him enjoyed the feeling of her body against his. He was a man of Faith, devoted to the Seven, and no longer the plaything of royalty."There is nothing sinful about... familiarity with an old friend." He said softly.

"of course, what was it you wished to ask me?"

"Is it possible to meet with you somewhere more... private?" He said in almost a whisper. "This is not a discussion I wish to have in public." he said, "There are many ears in the Red Keep."

"Of course" She nodded she went to take his arm but stopped herself and simply led him through the Red Keep, to her small chamber that overlooks the gardens, he and Lillyanna had spent many a day watching the flowers and waves in this room when he was here, so many memories of this place flooded his mind. In the room, separated from the outside world, Lancel found himself relaxing. It was a familiar place, where he had come for hours of his time, The familiar was a comfort, even in this new state of his. He sat down across from Lillyanna and found his eyes taking in her changes since the last time he had seen her. Her eyes, her hair, her curves... all more womanly than what he'd seen before. She was growing into a beautiful young woman. It took a lot for him to ignore the fact that she had changed.

"Tea?" she asked,

"Water please." He said in a clipped tone. Even water could be sinful if consumed in excess, as he had learned. He watched her as she prepared their drinks.
