▬▬▬▬▬▬THE BREATHTAKING TWELVE-YEAR-OLD GIRL, sitting on the steps of the stairs, scowled, as she heard her maid's voice cut through the air.
"Linda!" The girl said, "Please, I want to be left alone."
"I'm sorry your Highness," said the girl's maid, who was also around the girl's age, perhaps a year older, "But, I must inform you, the Avatar is here."
"The what...?" The girl gasped and got up, she quickly ran down the stairs and yelled behind her, "Thank you Lindie! I owe you!"
With excitement quivering every inch of her muscles, the girl ran downstairs, and heard faint voices.
"They must be imprisoned!" A man's voice shouted.
The cabbage man, the girl realized, he's here.
"We ask for your forgiveness your Highness." said a soft, yet fierce voice. It was feminine, and the girl immediately knew it was Katara. They're all here.
The girl crept forward and peeked over the curtains that blocked her from view to the 'guests'.
She could see everyone clearly, there was certainly the cabbage man, and her grandpa, ready to make the verdict, the guards, Katara and Sokka, as described in the movie, with their water tribe outfits, blue eyes, and dark skin. Then, finally, there was the Avatar. He seemed a little more childish than the girl would have thought he would be, but he is a child after all. He had his tattoos, shaved hair, and stormy gray eyes. The most intriguing color of eyes the girl had ever seen.
Her Grandpa thought to himself, then said, "Throw them..."
Everyone waited with baited breaths. The girl laughed silently, knowing what was to come.
"A feast!"
Everyone looked relieved. The girl smiled, happy for a change that she had finally seen the Avatar. The mission to come, would be challenging... But nothing she couldn't handle if she wanted to get home.
The Avatar, sure he had heard a rustle from the curtains, looked over and met a pair of curious eyes. Connecting with them, he observed the cocoa-like mixture of the girl's eyes, her fair skin, and silky long hair of blonde locks.
She was the unique person he had ever seen. For one, no one had brown eyes. Eyes could be only blue (Water-Tribes), yellow-golden (Fire Nation) , grey (Air Nomads), or green (Earth Benders), finally the non-benders had their eye-color from one of these categories of blue, green, grey, or yellow-gold even if they didn't have powers-It just depended where they were born.
And another thing, was her hair. Princess Yue had white hair only because she had the power of the moon inside her, but what power of what solar thing could give golden hair? The sun? Isn't that Fire Nation though?
Her smile was a whole other topic, Aang could feel himself softening at one look of her. Then she disappeared. Aang could feel his face flushing. Who was she? Would he meet her again? What was she?
Unbeknownst to him, that girl wasn't any girl, and he will meet her years later, when the Avatar saves the world.
Princess Azalea Hua of the Earth Kingdom.
