Charlie found amusement in watching Meredith focus on the zit on her forehead from the driver's seat.
"This is so hideous!" Meredith exclaimed.
Charlie chuckled softly, "It's just a zit, honey, it's supposed to be."
Meredith gave Charlie a stern look. "You're not supposed to say that. You should be telling me I look beautiful regardless of whether there's a massive zit the size of Texas on my forehead or not!"
Charlie attempted to stifle her laughter by covering her mouth with her fist, but she couldn't contain it as Meredith slapped her arm to quiet her down.
"Stop! I'm trying to be serious here!"
Charlie doubled over and accidentally hit the horn, startling them both. "Alright," she gasped, "Whoo just give me a moment."
Meredith stood with crossed arms, waiting impatiently. "Fine."
After collecting herself, Charlie glanced at Meredith, but her attention was immediately drawn to the huge pimple on her forehead. "You're still beautiful, even with that massive zit," she said with a smirk before bursting out laughing, much to the annoyance of the intern.
"You're such a ass," Meredith grumbled. "Get me a bandaid."
With a snort, Charlie gestured towards the console between them. "It's in there."
Meredith gave a disapproving look as she searched for a bandaid, but what she discovered made her raise her eyebrows in disbelief. "Why?" she questioned, holding up a box of band-aids featuring Marvel characters. "Why, Charlie?"
Charlie chuckled and shrugged, saying, "It was on sale."
Meredith let out a frustrated sigh and rubbed her forehead. "You're a attending, the head of Neuro, making hundreds and thousands a year. Why would you..."
Charlie retorted, "Just because I have money doesn't mean I have to spend it recklessly. Plus, I enjoy adding some color."
Meredith picked out one of Charlie's favorite items and said, frustrated, "This is more than just about color."
Charlie scoffed, "At least you have a cool spy to hide your zit. Now, are you done abusing me? I'm sure I'll have some bruises to show off later."
Meredith sarcastically replied with an eye-roll, "You brought this on yourself."
As they stepped out of the car, a Porsche Cayman arrived, surprising Charlie and Meredith. However, they recognized the driver thanks to her distinctive red hair.
Charlie revisited the previous discussion, saying, "I didn't deserve that. You were the one who wanted me to lie to you."
Meredith scoffed and blamed Charlie for her current predicament. "Its your fault anyway."
Charlie was taken aback, asking, "How am I responsible for you getting your period?"
Meredith grimaced and nudged the attending gently. "Shh, don't be so loud," she whispered. "The zit on my face isn't because of my period, I used some of your skincare products," she indicated the cartoon bandaid. "This is the result."
The attending responded with a simple "Oh."
Meredith chuckled softly. "Yes, oh. If you weren't so particular about staying over at my place, this wouldn't have happened."
Charlie was hesitant to stay at Meredith's house because of the constant noise and activity. Although she had started to warm up to Stevens and O'Malley, she didn't want them to become a part of her life, despite Meredith's reassurances that they wouldn't, "They have no understanding of privacy; Stevens barges into the bathroom while I'm showering, and they both enter your bedroom at will," she complained. "It really bothers me."
