After saying goodbye to my brother on FaceTime I get ready for bed after laying out my clothes for tomorrow I soon fall asleep after that
Time skip
I get up when my alarm goes off I go to the bathroom doing my morning routine once I'm done I get dressed before heading to firehouse 51 I go to intelligence to say hey to Trudy Alvin and Hank I locked my door heading to my car to go to intelligence I parked my car and head inside
Leah- hey Trudy
Trudy- oh my god Leah how are you I haven't seen you in forever
Leah- I know how are you
Trudy- good listen how's your dad
Leah- he um he passed this year
Trudy- oh I'm sorry
Leah- it's okay
Trudy- what brings you to Chicago
Leah- a job I just graduated from fire academy  I'm waiting for my transcripts to come in to firehouse 51
Trudy- that's so good congratulations
Leah- thank you can you buzz me up I want to say hey to Hank and Alvin
Trudy- of course they will be glad to see you
Leah- thank you Trudy. Trudy lets me up I walk upstairs I catch everyone eyes as I walk into the bullpen

Steve- hey Leah I'm back in Hawaii and I don't know how to tell you this
Leah- what's wrong
Steve- dad didn't die of natural causes he was killed Leah and I promise I'm going to do everything to find out who it was I'm going to keep you in the loop okay

Steve- no not yet she's coming to visit soon though you should come by you know for Mary
Leah- right just let me know when she does get there I'll come by

I walked away from everyone saying bye to Trudy on the way out I get in my car driving to the firehouse I'm introduced to everyone at the house everyone was welcoming me Boden said I can start tomorrow so after I get my gear and a locker I head home for the day parking my car and going inside my house locking the door behind me I go upstairs to take a shower once I'm done I get dressed in pajamas when my phone goes off it's a text from someone I used to know

I miss them so much I wonder why their texting me I don't know really should I text him back I want to I really do but I don't know if I should I thought I slip into bed going to sleep putting my alarm on for tomorrow
