Leah pov
I wake up on my bed at the firehouse I get ready and heading towards the lounge area to make some coffee after a while everyone else starts walking in my phone rings it's my brother
Leah- hey everything okay
Steve- yeah just wanted to see how are you doing
Leah- I'm doing good how about you anything new on dads case
Steve- no not yet I'll let you know when I find something
Leah- okay hey I have to go work calls talk later
Steve- yeah bye Leah
Leah- bye brother. The call ends i suit up as everyone else does we head to a house fire getting the trucks and ambulances soon after we arrived at the house fire me and Cruz along with Hermann we all go inside i see Cruz and Hermann get a woman and a man out I'm still in the house making sure no one else is in there i get a call on my radio from chief Boden
Boden- Leah are you there
Leah- yeah chief what's up
Boden- the family has a son in there he's name is billy he's 10
Leah- okay i will get him billy my name is Leah I'm a firefighter i need you to call out to me so i can come get you
Billy- in here
Leah- okay. I go to a room and see billy in the corner i go to him closing the door behind. Hey billy I'm going to get us out of here
Billy- please don't let those people get me
Leah- who billy
Billy- the man and the woman there aren't my parents please help me
Leah- okay billy hold on. I go to my radio and call chief Boden. Hey chief do you copy
Boden- yeah i do did you get billy
Leah- yeah i did but chief get CPD down here
Boden- why is everything okay
Leah- no billy says those people aren't his parents chief
Boden- copy that severide call CPD and tell them to get down here ASAP
Severide- okay chief why
Boden- those people aren't billy parents
Severide- on it
Leah- okay billy I'm going to put this mask on you so you can breathe we are going to get out by the window okay
Billy- okay. I put the mask on billy and open the window I get out first then grab billy i tell him to hang onto me once we get to the ground i go to walk towards the rest of the team i see CPD there as well the woman and man comes running towards me since i have billy Jay and Adam step in front of me and billy
Jay- let's go come on
Adam- we are taking you guys to the station
Jay- you okay Leah
Leah- yeah I'm okay. Jay and Adam walk off with who we thought are billy parents i head towards the ambulance to let Brett and violet check on billy once i left him with them i go back to the others
Cruz- you okay Leah
Leah- yeah I'm fine come on let's get back to the firehouse

Leah pov
After some fire calls and or vehicle collision calls i head home i shut and locked the door behind me it starts to rain now i head upstairs and take a quick shower once i was done i change into some pajamas Chris left his shirt here so i put it on me my computer starts to ring it's a video call from Chris i answer it
Leah- hey handsome
Chris- hey darlin how was your day
Leah- eventful and very long how about yours
Chris- it was hectic and long as well did you just get home
Leah- yeah i did how about you
Chris- i got home couple hours ago
Leah- that's good you know i miss you
Chris- i know darlin i miss you too is that my shirt
Leah- haha yeah it is you left here and i decided to put it on it still smells like you
Chris- that's good you look better in my clothes than i do darlin
Leah- aw thank you handsome i was thinking about coming to visit you sometime so you can show me New Orleans
Chris- i will love to darlin just let me know when you come visit so i can pick you up from the airport
Leah- okay well I'm going to let you go now we both have work tomorrow i need to get up early
Chris- okay darlin i love you and sweet dreams
Leah- i love you too sweet dreams and good night handsome

Leah- bye. The call ends i turn off my desk lamp and head towards my bed setting my alarm for tomorrow i get under my blanket letting myself fall asleep listening to the rain
