Leah pov
I walk up at firehouse 51 everyone gets ready for the call it's a bad storm out there we all arrive to the scene it looks a lightning struck a telephone pole and fell on 3 cars
Boden: severide take care of one car we need other ambulance here Casey you get the other Cruz get the last car move.
Everyone is going to do their job as chief told them too as I hear thunder the sky lights up I see Otis and I run towards him
Leah- Otis look out. I push him out the way and the lighting strikes me instead I fell back on the ground then all I see is darkness
Otis pov
Leah pushes me out the way I see lighting hit Leah and she falls back on the ground
Otis- Leah. I go to her checking her pulse there's nothing I start compressions
Boden- Otis talk to me what happened
Otis- lighting hit Leah there's no pulse
Boden- Dawson Brett need you here now
Dawson- we can't shock her it can hurt her more
Brett- we need to get her to med now
Boden- okay go be careful we will meet you there once we're done here
Connor pov
I'm at the nurses station when i see Dawson and Brett come in
Connor- what do we got
Dawson- firefighter Leah mcgarrett 26 she was struck by lightning has been down 5 minutes
Connor- okay let's get her in room 3. We all go to room 3 and move Leah to the bed once we do that i get to work me and April got her pulse back we take a X-ray everything looks good then we take an ultrasound i put pads on Leah chest to monitor her heart after that I see Leah starting to wake up
Connor- Leah hey do you know where you are
Leah- med what happened
Connor- you don't remember
Leah- no I don't
Connor- you were struck by lightning gabby and Sylvia brought you in I want to keep you here for a couple of days to make sure your heart is good
Leah- okay thanks
Connor- anytime
Steve pov
Steve- Danny try it come on it's good
Danny- no your an animal you know that
Kono- oh here we go again
Chin ho- guys seriously you fight like a married couple
Steve- we do not

My phone rings I answer it
Steve- hello commander mcgarrett
Maggie- hello is this Steve Leah brother
Steve- yes this is him everything okay
Maggie- I'm calling from Chicago med Leah is in the hospital
Steve- what is she okay
Maggie- yes she's fine we like to keep her here for a couple of days
Steve- what happened to her
Maggie- she was struck by lightning on the job
Steve- lighting what okay thank you I'm on the way
Danny- what is it Steve
Steve- that was the hospital Leah is there apparently she was struck by lightning
Kono- is she okay
Steve- yeah she's okay but they have to let her stay for a couple of days I'm going to Chicago you guys can handle things here
Joe- yeah go ahead tell Leah we said hello and to feel better soon
