I wake up slowly and see I'm sleeping on Chris bare chest while he hugs my waist the sun fades into the room I didn't get a chance to enjoy the quietness long before Chris phone rings he starts to wake up he answers his phone when he kisses my forehead
Chris- hello
Pride- hey Chris how are you and Leah doing
Chris- we're doing good king everything okay
Pride- no we have a case over here we could use your help I'm sorry to ask
Chris- no problem king I will be there soon don't worry
Pride- okay Chris have a safe flight back home and tell Leah we all say hello
Chris- will do king bye
Leah- pride call
Chris- yeah everyone says hello I need to get back to New Orleans there is a case king needs my help on
Leah- okay come on then let's get you back home so you can get the bad guys . I kiss Chris slowly he kisses me back as we kiss it's fill with love and adoration we both shower together and then get dressed so I can take Chris to the airport we soon arrive at the airport I hug Chris tight he hugs me back even tighter
Leah- call me when you land and thank you for visiting me
Chris- of course Leah I'll see you again soon okay
Leah- okay bye Chris tell everyone that I miss them and I'll miss you
Chris- okay I will and I'll miss you too
Chris kisses my forehead then my lips he grabs his bag and heading inside the gate to his flight soon the plane takes off I go out of the airport and head to my car driving back home again

Leah pov 

after my doctor gives me the go ahead I am now back at work at the firehouse I get up and do my morning routine once I'm done I get dressed and head to the firehouse I parked my car and grab my bag and head inside after locking my car I see everyone eating breakfast or drinking coffee 

Hermann- hey look who's back 

Leah- hey guys 

gabby- hey we missed you 

Leah- missed you guys too 

Boden- hey Leah how are you feeling 

Leah- good chief just need a cup of coffee 

Otis- I will get it for you Leah 

Leah- thank you Otis 

after a while we get a call about multiple crash collision everyone makes their way to the victims making sure their okay we get the victims out of there cars I see a car on the ledge of the railing from the bridge I move slowly to see if someone is inside I see a little boy in the back who looks to be 4 years old I go on my radio to let chief Boden know 

Leah- hey chief 

Boden- go ahead Leah 

Leah- there is a car on the edge of the railing that is part of the bridge there is a 4 year old in the back I can't move because If I do the car is going to go straight into the water 

Boden- okay severide and Casey are on the way hang tight 

leah- copy. I see the little boy wake up frantic. hey it's okay see I'm a firefighter I'm not going to hurt you I want to help okay can you tell me your name 

ben- its ben 

Leah- hey ben I'm Leah I need you to be still for me okay I going to walk towards you 

ben- okay 

I step closer to the car I open the car door not waiting on severide and Casey 

Leah- can you unbuckle your seatbelt slowly ben okay 

ben- okay 

ben takes his seatbelt off making the car shake again I get in front of ben I see him with a stuffed animal I tell him to jump that I will catch him he does it jumping in my arms making the car fall down in the water 

Leah- hey ben it's okay you're safe I got you. I walk to Brett and violet letting them know about ben they check him over and he's healthy as can be 

Hermann- was anyone else in the car Leah 

Leah- no just him what kind of parent leaves there kid like that 

cruz- I don't know 

Sylvia- me and violet are taking him to med to make sure everything is okay with ben 

Casey- okay we meet you guys there 

ben- Leah i'm scared please don't leave me 

Leah- I won't okay I'm going with you guys 

violet- okay let's go then
