I love you - Hawk

I am so pissed at Hawk, not only is he taking the revenge for Miguel too far, he's also not really paying attention to me, I'm his girlfriend shouldn't I be a little higher up in his priorities. I was chatting with Bert by my locker, "so... is there someone you've got your eye on," I asked and he quickly glanced behind me then back, I turned and saw a girl in his year that was quite cute. "We sit next to each other in history," I nodded, just then Kyler came up to us. "What's up cobra girl!" He patted my shoulder, I didn't really like Kyler, I still remember when he used to bully us but my choices of friends are becoming slim so I now tolerate him. "Why are you talking to that ex cobra?" He glared at Bert, "well he's my friend and he's not a part of any other Dojo, I really don't see the issue," he just dragged me to where Hawk was, he was too busy planning for Friday's hang out that he didn't really notice me. I just started to walk to class. 

Once I got in there I found myself next to Demetri, "don't worry, I'm not going to be an asshole to you," I sit and get my notebook out. "I know you won't Y/n," I gave him a smile. It's weird that nobody in our respective dojos realises that Demetri and I are still very close friends... Well we do it very secretly. We would often vent to each other, mainly about how we both feel like we are under valued in out dojos. "Hawk doesn't even talk to me unless it's about the feud," he patted my shoulder. "Well when he was Eli, he never would have done that." "He also wouldn't have asked me out in the first place, you'd be in constant agony of hearing how we like the other." "I'm already in constant agony, my best friends are not in my dojo and one hates me," I rested my head on his shoulder and we stayed silent for a few seconds. "You know, he still has his binary brother costume," He looked at me shocked, "Yeah, and he still has tons of pictures of us three on his wall, and his ones with just you too." "Really?" "Demetri, he misses you so much, he has just gotten very good and burying his emotions," I moved my head up so I could be eye level with him, "And I miss you too." "I know, I wish we could talk without worrying about who is watching us," the class then ended and I gave him a big hug. "I'll text you," he nodded and I ran out.

Me: Hey, wanna to hang out tonight?

Hawk <3: Can't extra Cobra Kai training.

Me: Oh okay, I could train with you?

Hawk <3: No I have to concentrate. 

Me: Okay, see you tomorrow :)

Hawk <3: See ya.

I threw my phone on my bed and cried in the corner of my room. Did I do something wrong? I then got a call from Demetri, "Hey, what's up?" I say trying to mask my sadness. "Hey can you meet with me?" "Metri you are scaring me, where?" "...The hospital," I quickly ended the call and ran to my car and drove to the hospital. I walked in and I found Chris sat in the waiting room, "Hey," he said in a surprisingly friendly way. "Hey, Demetri called me, what happened?" "Why don't you ask your boyfriend," there was the bitterness I was expecting, "Will you just please tell me what happened to my best friend," I sat next to him and he caved. "There was a fight at golf'n'stuff, it ended with Hawk... hurting Meat," Just then Demetri walked out with a sling and cast around his arm. "Metri!" I ran to him and hugged the side that wasn't bandaged up. "You didn't know about what they were up to, did you?" He asked and I shook my head quickly, "I'm going to talk to him," This was the last straw. 

I banged on Hawks door, he opened it, "Hey," he said without much energy. "Come with me," I started to walk to my car. "Why?" "I don't want to wake your parents up, so we are going where we can't disturb anyone." "Y/n-" "Hawk if you don't get in the car in the next 2 seconds you won't have a girlfriend anymore," he ran to the passenger seat. I didn't think about how that meant he still cared about me, all I could think about was getting my emotions out. We went to a empty football pitch and we both left my car, "I know." I say, "Know what?" "What you did to Demetri." "Y/n-" "Don't 'Y/n' me, you are taking this way to far!" "Y/n-" "And why don't we ever do anything anymore, I feel like you've just forgotten about me!" "That's not fair- You know we need to get revenge for Miguel!" "Is that what's really about, or is it so you can feel powerful!" "THEY ARE THE ENEMIES!" "HE'S OUR BEST FRIEND!" "Not anymore," he turned away from me, "Take me home." "Hawk, I don't want to date a fighting machine, I want to date Hawk, the human being, the guy who used to hang out with me, kiss me, where is he?" There was a silence that gave me chills, he turned back around and I could tell he was about to scream. "I AM NOT A DIFFERENT PERSON, I HAVE JUST BEEN REALLY CAUGHT UP IN THIS, BUT DON'T THINK FOR ONE SECOND THAT I DON'T LOVE YOU BECAUSE I ALWAYS HAVE AND I ALWAYS WILL!" He was breathing heavily, he's never said that to me before, I walked up to him and put my hand on his cheek, "Did you really say that you love me, or was I only imagining it?" I whisper and he leaned into my touch, "Y/n, I love you with all of my heart," tears started to stream down both our faces. "Good, cause I love you more than words can express," He gave me a hug, he cried on each other for a while. We may be in a broken place at the moment, but we will take the good with the bad.
