As Charlotte and I arrived in Hawaii, stepping into our grand villa, her awe at the breathtaking view before us mirrored my own. It was a sight to behold—the expansive vista from our bedroom, with a sliding glass door opening out to the beach, palm trees swaying gently in the breeze, and a vast pool just steps away. While I unpacked our suitcases, I couldn't help but smile at Charlotte's marvel.
On a small table, I noticed a bottle of champagne with a note congratulating us on our marriage, accompanied by two glasses. With a sense of celebration in the air, I popped the bottle open, pouring the bubbly liquid into each glass. Closing the distance between us, I handed Charlotte her glass, a tender smile on my lips.
"Mrs. Waraha," I said softly, raising my glass in a toast to our love and our future together.
Charlotte blushed as she accepted the glass, her eyes sparkling with affection. "I'll never get used to being called Mrs. Waraha," she admitted with a shy smile, her cheeks flushed.
With a smile, I gently pulled Charlotte closer, feeling a surge of affection for her. "And I'll never get used to the fact that you're officially my wife for eternity," I confessed softly, my voice filled with adoration. Leaning in, I placed a tender kiss on her lips, savoring the sweetness of our love.
After unpacking, Charlotte and I changed into our swimsuits, eager to enjoy the warmth of the Hawaiian sun. The heat was intense, but the setting was nothing short of paradise. The azure sky stretched endlessly above, and the pristine beach with its swaying palm trees framed our villa perfectly. The inviting pool, crystal clear and sparkling in the sunlight, beckoned us.
Hand in hand, we ran and jumped into the pool, the cool water a refreshing contrast to the hot air. Nearby, a table was laden with a colorful array of fresh fruits and delicious cocktails, a thoughtful gift from the villa.
Charlotte settled into a corner of the pool, sipping her cocktail and basking in the moment. I swam over to her, drawn by her serene presence. She opened her arms wide, and I gladly nestled into her embrace, feeling her warmth envelop me. As we held each other, she planted soft kisses on my shoulders, each one sending shivers of happiness through me.
We gazed into each other's eyes, the world fading away until it was just the two of us. Leaning in, we shared a tender kiss, a silent promise of our unending love.
After a moment, I pulled back slightly and tucked a stray lock of hair behind Charlotte's ear. "You know," I began softly, "after Pichy, I never thought I would find love again, let alone get married."
Charlotte smiled, her eyes filled with understanding and affection. "Neither did I," she replied, her voice a gentle whisper. "But here we are."
Smiling lovingly at her, I took a moment to let the depth of my feelings surface. "I can't see myself without you, Char," I said, my voice trembling with emotion. "I'd rather die than live without you."
Her hand gently caressed my cheek, her touch sending a wave of warmth through me. We leaned in, our foreheads touching, breathing in sync, and I felt more connected to her than ever.
"Where did the cold and emotionless Engfa Waraha go?" she teased, her tone light and filled with affection.
I laughed, feeling a warm rush of joy. "She melted away the moment she met you," I replied, my voice soft and sincere. "You brought out a side of me I never knew existed."
Charlotte's smile widened, and she leaned in to kiss me again, her lips soft and tender against mine. "Good," she whispered, her breath warm on my skin. "I love this version of you."
Holding each other close, the peaceful moment allowed my thoughts to wander. Gently, I began to trace soft patterns on Charlotte's bare back with my fingertips, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath my touch.
