Y/n slowed down, matching Momo's pace. She looked over at the elf, worried. "What is it, Momo?"
"Hah.." She panted, wiping her sweat. "Tell me why.."
The immortal furrowed her eyebrows, her eyes still on Momo. "Why what?"
"Why are we up so early!?" Momo yelled before coming to a fall stop, dramatically falling down on the ground.
Y/n looked at her in silence before stopping in front of Momo. "You're kidding me. Where'd all that energy from yesterday go?"
"I didn't know we'd wake up at 4 in the morning! And besides, why am I training with you!? We don't have the same regime! I should be doing some bending exercises, not running!" The elf sprawled her legs on the ground, whining.
"At least you're working on your muscles. That's important either way! Come on, stand up. We're still on our 25th lap." Y/n grabbed Momo's arm, pulling the latter up.
Momo put all her weight on her lower torso, refusing to stand up. "25 is enough! Stop itt~ Y/n~!"
"No can do, Momoring. We're only on our first day and you're already whining about waking up early. What more if we continue this for 6 more days?" Y/n scolded.
Momo continued to struggle against Y/n's hold. This continued for a few minutes until the elf finally gave up and stood up.
Y/n sighed, dusting off her hands as Momo finally stood up, albeit grudgingly. "It's not so bad once you get moving."
Momo shot her a glare. "Easy for you to say.. You're an immortal! I don't get how you have so much energy all the time.."
Y/n just smiled, not knowing how to answer that because she herself didn't know she had this much energy left in her body to get excited.
The immortal chuckled and began to jog slowly which prompted Momo to follow her. "You won't die. I promise."
"That's comforting," Momo muttered, reluctantly picking up her pace.
