Y/n's pov:

"For examinees, please come this way!"

There were a lot of people by the entrance, probably to have a chance at passing the entrance exam.

Momo and I followed the crowd heading for what seemed to be the backyard of the academy. I can't lie -- the academy was as big as that dragon's cave -- and her cave was inside a whole mountain.

"Ah-"

For a second, Momo fell because some rando pushed her backward by going in front. I was quickly able to grab her forearm and pull her closer to me before her butt hit the ground.

"Thanks." She said shyly as she pulled away.

"Be careful." I said before turning to the person who bumped into her. Her back was facing me but her hair and height felt eerily familiar.

I tapped her shoulder. "Please watch where you're going."

"I'm sorry. Got pushed by the crowd," When she turned around, my face immediately broke into recognition and annoyance. "Oh--"

"Oh it's you." It was that tall girl back at the bakery. I sighed.

"Yah!! Why did you sigh? You don't look happy to see me." The person said. Duh, I didn't wanna see you again, but obviously I'm not gonna say that.

"Something got stuck in my mouth, wouldn't come out."

"Pfft, yeah. Lies."

I looked at Momo who snorted and she just shrugged her shoulders with a downturned smile.

The person chuckled before turning to me. "Are you here for the entrance exam?"

"Yes, thank you for reminding us. We'll get going now." And I was about to grab Momo when she spoke up again. Why is she so nosy?

"Do you even know the way?"
