Planet Cooler-765 (former name: planet Acoak)

The planet had been blessed with two moons, one red and one similar to the one on Vegetasei. This only meant one thing to the Saiyans. As soon as Vegeta had read the news he had grinned: it was what he needed.

Since that collaboration began, he had only had one more opportunity to transform into Oozaru. And it was the only mission in which the two armies had to separate. Now the Saiyans could have the opportunity to show their true strength, their ancestral nature. What would the Dragon have thought of all this? Vegeta hoped to tease Captain Goku's curiosity.

Vegeta, being a royal, maintained his awareness even in his ape version. He was able to fully enjoy the battle. His animal senses and strength compensated for his slow movements. He could always tell where Prince Goku was.

And for the first time, Vegeta witnessed the transformation of the young man, surrounded by enemies, a ridiculously high number and he hadn't wavered a moment, using his extending cane - the discovery had confused several Saiyans, and a shiver ran through his great hairy back from Vegeta: that body so strong yet so docile... who really was Prince Goku?

Vegeta growled and attacked, perhaps he needed to bother his informants again.

Late at night there was only the red moon high in the sky, the battle was won and the Saiyans were out of their giant ape form.

From Vegeta's scouter came the annoying sound of a message. Quickly the Prince changed clothes without washing and checked the mailbox, finding a document from his spies immediately after a message from his father who wanted a report on the progress of the mission, and Vegeta knew that in that message was also a countdown to the extermination of the Ox Kingdom.

This did not please Vegeta. He didn't think that kingdom deserved the same fate as previous allies, not just because their army was strong - and it was just the third, not even the first!

He decided to go for a walk, get away from the revelry of his soldiers. But he hadn't been able to escape from Nappa.

"Are you running to our allies again?"

"Nappa, you will be the General, but I can always kill you before you can say "oh shit"!" he growled defensively.

The corpulent Saiyan waved a large hand and his face lost its playful attitude. "You got the countdown from the King, right?"

"I guess so. The King has a tendency to get impatient. This temperament of him will backfire one day."

Nappa narrowed his gaze, as wary as whenever anyone-anyone said something about the King of the Saiyans. "What do you mean?"

Vegeta crossed his lips to his chest and smiled. "I just worry about my father."

"If you want to pass it off as an accident that's not how it works."

Vegeta chuckled. "I thought if it works with Raditz, then..."

"Aaah, that brat. He must learn or he'll be killed."

Vegeta had never trusted anyone in his life, the only two people closest to him were Nappa and Raditz and he still kept them an arm's length away, close enough to lead them and far enough away from his private affairs.

Aware that Vegeta would not have advanced any word of advice or support, Nappa changed the subject and attitude, returning to make fun of him.

"So you're still running to your new friend?"

"If in these messages there is what I think I am afraid I will have to." he replied pretending it didn't matter. "Even though I'm tired of always being the one who wiggles his ass, he might as well come to me."
