On Oa, Y/n Jordan, Green Lantern of Sector 2814 appears in front of the Guardians. They were currently discussing something going on in Metropolis, a huge city on his planet that houses the Kryptonian Kal-El, or as he's called by his Earthly parents Clark Kent.

The costume was different to the first one he wore, but it was the same Y/n Jordan who stopped Parallax from devouring Earth and doing the same thing to Oa.
Y/n: [Curious] What's going on, Guardians?
Male Guardian 1: Something is happening on your planet, Y/n Jordan. We request that you go investigate and deal with the situation.
Y/n: Where's the problem happening?
Female Guardian: Our intel tells us it's happening in the town of Metropolis, housed to an alien by the name of Kal-El, a Kryptonian who survived the massacre of his own homeworld.
Y/n: How come I've never heard of this "Kryptonian"?
Female Guardian: The universe is built around many different planets and galaxies, but Krypton was wiped off the face of the world.
Y/n: [Confused] Wiped off the face of the world? How is that possible? Not even Parallax could do that.
Male Guardian 2: Because you proved your worth and willpower against him before he could do the same. Y/n Jordan, if not for your will, we would have never found the ability to overcome the fear we felt over Parallax, and we know you'll show that willpower once again.
Y/n: [Nods] I won't let the Lantern Corps down.
Flying away from the Citadel, Y/n leaves Oa and makes his way back to Earth, flying directly for Metropolis. Whatever was going on there, it needed the full attention of Green Lantern, for he was the protector of Earth and Sector 2814. Meanwhile, a 45-year-old man is exiting from a helicopter, running to the city of Metropolis as an alien invasion is happening right in front of his very eyes.

This is Bruce Wayne, son of the now dead Thomas and Martha Wayne and owner of Wayne Enterprises. Born in Gotham City, Bruce was taught that there were two different kinds of people in the world: Those who would protect the civilians from danger, and those who would put the civilians in danger. A giant alien spacecraft was flying in the sky, shooting a beacon of light down. He got into a car and raced to the middle of the city to help with the evacuation, just as Y/n arrived in the city. He looked on, seeing the damaged caused by this Kal-El. Whatever was going on, he was determined to put a stop to it. Another beacon gets shot down from the spacecraft and Y/n looks to a building filled with people inside. Flying over to it, he sees people begin to get trapped inside. Blasting at the side of the building, he flies in and goes over to an old man.
