At first, it seemed to be a small force, but when more and more ships came, the people on Gamma-3 realized that this was not going to be a small attack. After the first spotters spotted the bigger ships coming into Gamma-3 airspace, an emergency message was sent to the Militia. In the hope that they would be able to get here in time.

Militia HQ Harmony

As Lieutenant James was almost done with his shift reading through the messages that came into the Militia frequency. He was caught off guard by an emergency message that was received from Gamma-3.

Within a moment's notice, he quickly called his CO to come take a look, stating

"Sir, get here ASAP, just received an emergency message from Gamma-3. The IMC is attacking"

The CO quickly rushed towards James to verify it and was surprised that it indeed was one. "James, get this to the commander! Hurry!"

"Yes sir, on it sir!" James ran from his position in the radio tower and rushed towards the main Militia building, going straight inside and rushing towards the war room, hoping to find the commander there.

As James rushed inside and ran towards the war room, he noticed Major Anderson talking to Captain Lastimosa at the vending machine at the entrance, he quickly approached them. "Captain, Major. Is the commander in the war room by chance?"

"Lieutenant, yes she is there. Why you ask?" Lastimosa replied while having one of his eyebrows raised.

"There has been an emergency message that we received from Gamma-3, the IMC are attacking there. But no time, gotta go" and James ran away towards the war room.

As he approached the war room, he knocked on the door and went inside, getting the attention of Commander Briggs.

He saluted before he started talking "Commander, there is an emergency message that just came from Gamma-3. The IMC is attacking" while handing over the datapad he had with the message

Briggs was caught off guard by this message, as they knew that Gamma-3 and 4 were independent. So this was not a small raid attack, it was big and they had to act fast. As she read through the message, she mumbled and cursed a bit.

"Lieutenant, thank you for bringing this to me fast. You can tell your CO that we will be acting fast on this." James saluted again and left to go back to his CO.

Briggs rushed to her computer in the room and checked if there was any fleet in orbit that could be used to go to Gamma-3. The 9th Militia fleet just returned from a training operation so they had a fleet ready. Within moments the 9th Militia fleet received the message that they would depart to Gamma-3 in roughly 3 hours and was asked to prepare for a full assault.

She opened her comm link to Lastimosa and Anderson, but before both replied they walked into the war room.

"O, glad you two are here. We are leaving in 3 hours, get everything ready because it will probably get pretty messy. We have little intel on what we can expect, but just from this message alone, it's going to be big."
