My heart craves for love but my mind's at a battle
Oh I'm stuck at the crossroads of life
Finding the right path seems delusional
I ask you this
Are we too young for this?
The winds blowing in my ears
And I'm at a high that can't come down
The moment's so blurring that I
Feel like I need you
But you're not mine..
Tell me, are we too young for this?
You're a mystery for me to solve
But we could never be with one another
So much heartbreak and no one gets it
Explanations feel irrational and pathetic
Are we too young for this?
We're living in a world
Where everyone's in a race
Against time; against life
But the end result is nothing like we expect
Comparisons with friends
And being told how they're better
Are they simply phases that pass or
Words that remain etched in our hearts?
Fear of losing someone
The thought of not being enough
Fear of failures
Are all too well known but us right now
Is that how it should be?
At the end of the day
Some cry themselves to sleep
While the others hold their heart heavy
With longing feelings and unspoken words
Oh, we're too young for this..
