[Back after a break. Needed it from this book...But we're back now!! WITH 15K WORDS!!!]
_____[3rd Person POV]
You know, when someone decides to leave home and move out on their own, it's a big process. I mean, you're leaving the place you're most comfortable. You're saying goodbye to a place you've spent so many memories of your life, it's like saying goodbye to an old friend. And don't even get started on the fact that you're moving away from family and friends! Though, to be fair, most times when someone moves out, it's either still in the same town or city, or heck, it could even be in another state. But most of the time that person will at least remain in the same country, so there's somewhat comfort knowing you're technically not too far away from home. But what about when you don't just move towns...But entire countries? It was most definitely a big process for anyone to handle.
And such an understanding was something (M/n) (L/n) wanted to make absolutely clear to her one and only son three years when he first decided to leave his home country to move to Japan. And for what? To become a Devil Hunter! So it's fair to say that (Y/n)'s mother struggled with the idea of her son not only moving countries, but going to one that was so far away and packed with dangers, she was obviously worried. But that's bound to be noticeable from a mother. However, what was a little less known was that (Y/n) himself was also worried about moving to another country. After all, he had lived in the one town in the one country all of his life up until that point. But then one day, he realized his dream. He wanted to be a Devil Hunter. He wanted to help people. And what better place than the Devil capital of the world, Japan!
It also helped that (Y/n) liked the country a lot, and eventually managed to pick up on the language pretty well. So being able to speak and find overall enjoyment was something (Y/n) didn't have to worry about whilst living in Japan, but there was always concerns that something would happen. Something that would send his world upside down in the blink of an eye, and with him being in a completely different country, it may be hard to adapt. Luckily for the boy, after only a few short months in Japan, he came to realize his worries weren't needed. In the span of this time, (Y/n) was able to make friends, find enjoyment in the work he did, and even find hobbies he loved to do that he couldn't do at home.
And that didn't even mention the great foods available; the fun and unique locations only located in Japan; and all the other wonderments that this Country had to offer. But if there was one thing that he loved most about Japan, which he technically could have gotten anywhere else...It was the mornings. (Y/n) didn't know why, there was just something really cool about waking up to the bright orange skies hovering over the majestic city of Japan. It was a sight he woke up to every morning in his irresistibly soft King sized bed positioned in the bedroom of his top-floor apartment. One that was placed right in the heart of the city. So when you add in the amazing location he lived in, and the incredible building he called his home, you'd think there'd be very little that could top it, right? Well, again, you'd be wrong.
Because there was one thing that made these amazing mornings even more special...And that was having cuddles with his beautiful fiance, Makima. Now, sure, it was known quite knowingly that Makima herself was the one that loved, loved, LOVED, cuddles. She would take the chance to have them with (Y/n) whenever the moment rose up. Especially mornings! But that wasn't to say (Y/n) didn't like them either. He loved the comfort, warmth, and mere presence that Makima's electric body offered him every morning the conscious spirit reactivated in his soul upon every sunrise. The thing was, (Y/n) really didn't need to go out of his way to go for cuddles, leaving his own desire for the affection from his loved one to gone not as noticed as Makima's own.
But this was mainly because every time he woke up, Makima was already cuddling up to him. It was the first thing (Y/n) felt every morning he woke up, and it always did enough to make him smile and get his day off to the best start. But in saying that, it surely would leave the question about what would happen if he didn't get his morning cuddles. Well, on today...a day like any other, that question was raised. Now, at first, things were normal. (Y/n)'s eyes slowly opened to be greeted by the beautiful morning sunrise, and the echoes of the city outside. Music to his ears. It wasn't for another half a minute or so, as his conscious was properly waking up, that he realized his amazing fiance wasn't cuddling him. It was an odd feeling, one he wasn't used to due to how often Makima had her arms around him...or on him in general.
