Chapter 34

It's the next day. You wake up and check your phone. You have a million more messages from Quinn. Most of them give you the feeling that Quinn thinks you are being unfaithful. She isn't wrong, you were unfaithful, but that was once, and it was the last. You just replied with "I'm sorry, was talking to Brit and then went to sleep.". That would have to do. You were just tired of constantly being questioned whenever you're alone. You start questioning your relationship with Quinn. Since it is putting you in a bad mood, you try to take your mind off of it. Because you know that Santana is gonna bring it up, you don't text her either. The few texts from Santana were just nonsense. She kept apologising and stuff like that. I'm thinking that she is the reason that Quinn came by unannounced the previous day. Because you don't have that much other friends, and Brittany is busy with Lord Tubbington, she decides to reach out to some other Glee girls. You start with Mercedes, because her and Quinn to be kind of close as well so she has to be cool. You get her number from the Glee group chat and decide to call her.

"What up?" Mercedes says.

"Hey Mercedes, it's Y/n."

"Hey, why are you calling me?" Mercedes sounds suspicious.

"I just wanted to reach out to some other Glee girls because I feel like I don't have much friends and out of all the rest, you seem the coolest."

"You got that right, I'd love to be your friend, you also seem really cool. Wanna meet up somewhere? I can take Tina with me if you want, or even Kurt. Than we can just hang out as a group and you can connect with everyone a bit." Mercedes suggests.

"That's a really good idea. How about the park at noon? Then we still have some hours to prepare something or call some other people. Because you know those people the best, I want you to decide who to invite, and who not. I would appreciate it if you could leave Santana and Quinn out of this. I have spent enough time with them already. Brittany won't come anyway. She is busy reconnecting with Lord Tubbington, because "their relationship has been rocky". Anyways, does that sound good to you?"

"That sounds great! I'll reach out to some of the others and we'll meet up at the park around noon. I'll bring some snacks. Maybe you can bring some. I'll see you later!"

"Yeah, see you later!"

You sigh because you never thought that you would be friends with them so easily. Maybe this is exactly what you need. You start making some cookies. You then make your way to the park, way to early. Hoping you would see someone you know a bit sooner. You lay down the blanket and put the basket down. You put on your headphones and send a message to Mercedes saying where you were in the park. You put on your music and lie down.
While you're waiting, you hear a familiar voice. You sit back up and look around. You see Santana standing a few feet away from you, watching you.

"Santana? What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to go for a walk. And Mercedes accidentally called me as well to say that you wanted to make friends with the other Glee kids. She just called every one, a habit I guess. She told me that you wanted to go to the park, the time she didn't tell me because then she realised her mistake. Because I know that you love the park around noon, I have been here for the last hour, searching for you. I really wanted to apologise for the way I acted. I know I overstepped and I'm sorry. I hope that you can forgive me. I am the reason Quinn burst into your house the other day. I am the reason you have to lie to your girlfriend. It's all my fault, so I am apologising and then leaving. Bye." Santana walks away. You stand up.

"Santana! Wait!" Santana stops walking and turns around, "I don't blame you. I had a weak moment. It's no ones fault but mine. Don't beat yourself up about it. About yesterday, I don't mind that Quinn came by. But let me ask you this because that is my only question really, why?"
