Chapter 3

Then suddenly, nag crave ako sa cinnamon bread!

I don’t think it would be a great idea though.

I stared at my phone for a minute. I really should go and eat some of my cravings. Since I don’t think Lola and Lolo will be home today. They would probably stay there for a while. For sure they missed my siblings so much.

I drove myself to The Expresso Shot before my other personality refused to grab any food to eat.

But God didn’t hear me at all, he appeared in front of me. Looking so fresh with his layered two-block haircut. Okay, ang gwapo niya talaga. He flashed a sweet smile and placed the tray on my table. He’s wearing brown apron with cute teddy bear placed in the middle sa baba noon ang pangalan ng coffee shop.

He looks so clean and soft… just don’t mind the biceps…

“One iced americano with 2 shots of espresso, two cinnamon bread… you must love them. And pesto pasta.” He stated my orders with a smile on his face. “Enjoy your breakfast, Ma’am!”

Ma’am, huh?

Kagabi lang tawag niya sa’kin Ysobel. Look how fast the night changes nga naman? I put my earpods on and didn’t mind the people. Main road kasi naka locate ‘yung coffee shop kaya marami akong sasakyang nakikita.

When I was a kid, I was so scared to go outside alone. I was so scared to live alone because I was with my Ate or my Yaya, palagi ko sillang kasama kaya natatakot akong lumabas mag-isa kasi baka hindi ko kaya.

I smiled a little bit.

Look at me, mini Yna. You should be proud of me at least, right?

I did it all by myself.

I couldn't eat by myself before, I must say that I enjoyed food with people by my side. Mas nabubusog ako kapag may kasama akong kumain. Sino ba namang may gustong kumain na mag-isa?

This… I could tell that this is alone but not lonely at all.

Outgoing Yna will probably lose her sanity to think that future Yna enjoyed a coffee shop alone, enjoyed a ramen house alone, enjoyed samgyupsal alone and a place where people are nowhere to be found.

While eating my pasta, the music suddenly fades.

A notification pops up.
