A week had passed but my mind still reminisces about what happened in Quezon City.

I kinda felt alive again. Like I have reason to wake up again. It was like breaking the cycle of my daily exhausting routine.

My smiles weren't looking so fake this time. I really wondered why, but I just don't have time to think because our midterm is getting near. I just can't let this slide, I have to ace my exam!

"Wow," Sam suddenly smiled when she saw me. "You look... great."

I consciously hid my face, she just laughed and patted my shoulders. As much as I want to be with Sam and my other blockmates while reviewing my mind and body automatically rejecting the thought of having so many people around me while studying.

Hindi ko maiiwasan ma-distract kahit nagaaral din sila.

I had one class and I immediately went home.

Hapon na nung natapos ako sa inaaral ko. I already forgot to eat. Nag-inat muna ako bago pumunta sa higaan ko para ipahinga saglit ang mata ko bago maligo.

I decided to buy Jollibee for my late lunch. After ko maligo inayos ko muna ang study table ko para kapag nag-aral na ulit ako maayos na. When I'm satisfied enough organizing things at my table, nagpunta na ako agad sa Jollibee to buy food.

Nang makauwi ako, I check my phone because it was ringing. I sighed. 'Yung GC namin, Ali is the one who called. I answered and didn't open the camera. Ali was talking so fast when I got in, nag-ra-rant siguro siya.

I put my phone on my phone holder so I could see them. Alvin was already there but the camera is also off, Daryl on the other hand, dramatically looked at the phone while listening to Ali. Natawa ako sa hitsura ni Ali dahil mukha problemado talaga siya.

[REALLY?! LIKE WHAT THE FUCK HOW CAN SOMEONE BE THAT STUPID UGH!] Kung naka earphones lang sana ako bingi na ako sa lakas ng boses niya. Selene answered the call and she immediately smiled but faded when she saw Ali hitting her head on her headboard.

[Really, Alianne? Stop hitting your head.] Seryosong sabi ni Alvin sa kanya. Tumigil siya pero parang naiiyak na siya sa sobrang frustration. [For sure you provoke him and the result would be the stupidity you're talking about.] He camnly said. Dearly dramatically gasped and held his chest like he was so touched.

"Parang tanga talaga 'to." Good thing naka mute ako at naka off cam kaya hindi niya nakita.

[Excuse me, even if I provoked him he's still stupid!] Pinaglaban pa niya ang sarili niya. [Ni hindi mo nga siya kilala and you're on his side, seriously.] Napailing nalang ako sa kanya, hindi ko rin naman kilala kung sino ang kaaway niya pero kilala ko si Ali. She loves provoking someone until she runs out of breath, laughing. Hindi siya napipikon kasi malakas siyang mang-asar yet she's here pikon na pikon.

[Pero beh kasi, kilala ka namin napaka mapang-asar mong tao. 'Yung tipong kahit inaantok na 'yung katabi mo pagti-tripan mo pa. So... Sa tingin mo kanino kami kakampi.]

When Zia answered the call she looked at Ali. [What happened to you?! You look so frustrated!] Matinis na boses ni Zia ang nagpagising kay Selene. I saw she was opening and closing her eyes. She's so cute.

[Wow, thanks, Zia ha? Naka tulong ka.] She sarcastically said. Natawa lang si Zia. I opened my camera and Daryl was busy clicking something on his screen. Then the doggy filter hit our faces, Zia, Ali and I glared at him. Tawa siya nang tawa. [Tanginang 'to, alisin mo 'yan.] Ali said. Zia is ready to say something when Alvin spoke.
