I woke up to a tap on my shoulder. "Going to the gym; I'll be back later." "yeah, ok." I answered half asleep, then I felt a kiss on the forehead as I heard the bedroom door faintly close, and when that door closed, I instantly fell back to sleep.
The noon sun tickles my face, so I turn to use Droid as a shield, but it's empty and cold. "Where did he go?" I ask as I get up from our bed, "Maybe he is in his office." When I open the door, he is on the couch, asleep with Max and Oso. "Lucky," I say as I walk towards them, and when I'm right in front of them, I tap on his shoulder. He grabs my hand and pulls me in, so I carefully reach Droid without harming the dogs.
Now I'm laying on top of him with the dog around us. "Let's go back to sleep, yeah?" "yeah..." I responded as the sound of his heartbeat put me at ease, and the last thing I felt before I went back to sleep was a kiss on top of my head.
