Grey Finds a Young Girl

It was the year 1998, it was a cold and snowy night, it was Mid-December
And a 27 year old Man called  Wade Grey, It was the end of his Shift, he was excited to go home to His Beautiful Wife, He was stuck in the snowy Traffic of Los Angeles, He was nearly home and Slammed his brakes when he saw a little girl sat on the Concrete floor Crying her eyes out, Wade quickly got out of his Car and Ran upto her, she had Bruises all over her body and Scars which were bleeding, he Quickly ran to his Car and got a Blanket out, he ran back to her and covered her in the warm fluffy blanket, He picked her up and sat her in the passenger seat of his car. He put her seat belt on and Got into the other side, the little 4 year old was Still crying, Wade called his Beautiful wife Luna,
"This is Luna"
"Erm I need help" Wade said worriedly into the phone,
"babe what's up? What's happened?" Luna questioned worried,
"Well I was on my way home and then I saw a little girl Sat on the side of the road covered in Bruises and cuts and of course I couldn't leave her so I took her with me so should I go to the hospital?" Wade spoke very quickly,
"Yeah take her, I will go to the shop and buy her some stuff incase we need to take her in" Luna said,
"Okay love U" Wade said,
"Love you too" Luna said and hung up the phone.
*With Wade"
He drove her to the hospital and ran her inside,
"Hi how can we help?" The Receptionist asked,
"So I found this little girl on the side of the road alone covered in Cuts and bruises" Wade told her,
"Okay I will take her, have a nice day" The receptionist said,
"No I am not leaving her I would like to go with her pls" Wade said Worriedly and a bit angry,
"Okay, what's your name?" The receptionist said,
"Wade Grey" Wade said,
"Okay Wade pls Take a seat we will be with you as soon as possible where just running behind" The receptionist told him,
"Okay thank U" Wade said
He sat down with the 4 year old on his knee snuggled upto him asleep,
"Oh are you looking after her?" A random person asked him,
Wade turned to look at them and said,
"No why I found her on the Street, wait do you know her family or even her name?" Wade asked,
"Erm I don't know the family I only know her because I live next door to the family and our Children sometimes play together, well They would make me look after her,and her name is Lucy" The random person said,
"Okay thank U, do you know her last name?" Wade asked,
"Chen, Lucy Chen" The person told him then turned back to reading her magazine.
Wade was looking down at Lucy and She was asleep facing him, wade started Stroking Her cheek, because he always wanted kids but him and Luna were Struggling to have children,
*One hour later*
(The hospital is Busy)
"Wade Grey" a nurse said,
Wade stood up with her in his Arms,
"That's me" Wade said,
"Follow me pls" The nurse asked,
Wade followed the nurse,
"Do you know her name by any chance?" the nurse asked,
"Erm.. it's Lucy Chen" Wade told her and then they arrived at a room,
"Okay in there pls" the nurse said so he walked in and a doctor was sat at There desk, "hello you must be Wade Grey?" the doctor asked,
"Yep that's me" Wade said,
"Okay well I am Doctor Grace, Who is this little one?"Grace asked,
"Well her Name is Lucy Chen and I found her crying on the side of the road With cuts and bruises all over her" Wade said sitting down on the chair bed thingy with little Chen,
"Okay well are you a releative or have any relationship with this Child?"Grace asked,
"No" Wade said,
"Okay well can I take a look at her pls?" Grace asked,
"Yeah let me wake her up" Wade said,
He started to stroke her cheek and was saying, "Lucy it's time to wake up" Lucy slowly woke up, she looked around and got scared so hid under the blanket, "hey Lucy it's okay my name is Grace and that's Wade, we just want to help you, I will give you a teddy after the check up" Grace said Lucy peeked her head from the blanket "teeddy" Lucy said excitedly,
"Yeah a teddy but I need to check you out first, is that okay?" Grace asked,
Lucy nodded, Wade sat Lucy down on the bed thingy but Lucy got scared and started to cry and tried to Reach for Wade, "hey it's okay I'm not going anywhere I promise" Wade said walking back over to Lucy and sitting next to her, Grace was checking Lucy and was Putting plasters on Her scars,
"All done" Grace said smiling at Lucy,
"Teeddy" Lucy Said getting over excited,
"Yeah let me go grab Him" Grace said walking out to go grab the teddy,
A few minutes later Grace walked back in with her hands behind her back, she then pulled out a Teddy from behind her, Lucy had a massive Smile on her face, Grace gave her the teddy and Lucy said "thanky" While hugging the Teddy tightly,
"What you going to call it?" Wade asked,
"Ermmm...... Mr Snuffles" Lucy said,
Grace then sat back down on her chair
"So Wade we need to figure out what we are going to do with her" Grace spoke
"Me and Luna can take her until we find her parents, or even a relative"
Wade said looking at Lucy and then adding, "Luna has already gone to the shop to buy her a tone of stuff"
"Okay I will try and Find someone, but what if there is nobody who wants her?" Grace asked,
"Well you know how much me and Luna want kids" Wade said,
"Okay so if we find someone and they want her then give her too them but if not you will adopt her?" Grace asked wanting to be reassured,
"Yes" Wade said,
"Okay then yous two are free to leave" Grace said,
"Okay thank U" Wade said picking Lucy up and taking her cuddled up in the blanket with Mr Snuffles.
They got into the car and drove home,
They walked into the house and Luna was sat on the Sofa waiting for them,
"Aww, She so cute" Luna said standing up and walking towards Them, Lucy was walking hand in hand with Wade,
"I know" Wade said looking down at Lucy who was Rubbing her eyes,
"Lucy?" Wade said,
"Yes" Lucy Siad looking up at wade,
"You tired?" Wade asked, Lucy nodded so Luna picked her up and took her to go get Changed,
She got Lucy Changed into some warm Pjs, Wade walked in on Luna reading Lucy a book, He walked in and Gave Lucy some warm milk, Lucy was listening to the story while drinking her warm milk, Lucy fell asleep as luna was finishing the story,
wade took the milk and went out to the kitchen to put it in the sink, Luna tucked Lucy into there bed and kissed her on the head, wade walked in and kissed Lucy on the head then both of them walked out and closed the door behind them.
