SUICIDAL QUESTS
That night, the whole of Camp had heard about Ariana not being dead and she was forced, by Mr. D to stand up in front of the whole Camp at dinner.
"Hey guys!"
The whole Camp was glaring at her, including Drew (who had rugby tackled Ariana when she saw her).
"Hard crowd." She muttered, before speaking up. "Basically short story: Jason was about to get sliced by Caligula so I shadow travelled in front of him and took the interception. I died, ish."
Nobody looked impressed.
"We want the full story, Ariana!" Yelled Nessa, a child of Hephaestus.
"Yeah!" Kayla agreed, from Cabin Seven.
Ariana was reminded about her boyfriend, and how he was still passed out on a bed in Cabin Seven.
She had stayed with him all afternoon, sitting down beside his bed but eventually Will had dragged her out of the cabin to eat dinner.
Drew then spoke up. "Tell us about your love life too!"
Ariana sighed, sitting cross legged on the floor. She looked across the pavilion to the Demeter kids and more specifically at Meg, who gave her a short nod.
With that, she spilled everything. From their adventures at Waystation, where they went after leaving Camp HalfBlood, to her and Apollo's first kiss, to her death and her father saving her life.
Ariana left no turn left untouched, she even gave them a wonderful reenactment of how she and Apollo had officially gotten together.
The girl didn't care if she was giving them too much information, they were her family - they deserved to know.
Surprisingly, Nico was smiling when she mentioned kissing Apollo or getting with him. For some reason, she had expected him to try and decapitate her for it.
But he didn't. Her brother seemed happy for her, it was so genuine Ariana nearly cried.
Once the camp were happy with Ariana's story, Nico shouted: "if you wish to hit her, form a line!"
Ariana screamed. "Nope! We're not doing this, Nico! There's a lot more people than when Leo died and came back to life!"
"Good!" Drew shouted. "You deserve it more!"
Mr. D was smirking the whole time, and watched as the whole Camp lined up and began taking it in turns to hit Ariana.
Even campers, whose names Ariana didn't even know came up to hit her. They must have joined camp when she left with Apollo and Meg.
Her arms were not having a good day. Eventually, Mr. D told them all to get to bed, saving Ariana from even more pain.
Nico and Ariana were walking to Cabin Thirteen when her eyes found their way to Cabin Seven. Ariana frowned, thinking of her boyfriend.
Nico noticed and nudged her arm with a smile. "Go."
"Huh?"
"Go see your boyfriend." He laughed. "Will, he'll let you in without a doubt. Although, I can't believe you'd be the one to date a god."
"If I had a dollar for every time I'd heard that, I'd have so much money Nico." Ariana smiled. "You sure you'll be alright on your own?"
"It's one night." Nico shrugged. "And I've been alone in that cabin since you left so I think I'll be alright. I'll see you in the morning?"
Ariana nodded. "I missed you Nico."
"I can assure you that I missed you so much more, Ariana."
With one last grin, Ariana made her way to Cabin Seven and knocked on the door - not wanting to barge in unannounced.
