"Do you still have those dreams, Deepu?" Prakash asked while placing his hands on the table, eyes full of undisguised worry.
"Actually...No. But, surprisingly instead of feeling relieved, I am more uncomfortable. Like... I hate those weird dreams but I feel like it's very important too... And I always feel like someone is watching me. Always... Even when I am alone in my bedroom, I still feel a strange presence. But, strangely I am not scared but feel.... secured." Deepa said with her face full of confusion on the strange events in her life.
Prakash was silent for a moment when he heard her last two sentences. In the depth of his heart, thoughts flashed in the speed of light.
"It will be fine, Deepu. Might be because... You had those feelings for quite a long time. It will... Disappear with time." Prakash maintained his calm face with difficulty, occasionally having pauses in his words. No one knew, how hard it breaks his heart to say these.
"Yeah, maybe..." Deepa sighed. "But, I don't know why am I having these weird experiences..." Deepa murmured, but it was heard by Prakash.
"I am sleepy, dad. Let's talk tomorrow. Good night~" Deepa stretched herself and left the study room after Prakash wished her back.
Lying back on his chair, Prakash stared at the closed door for a long time. After unknown amount of time, he stood up and walked towards the large shelf on the left side of his table. His footsteps were slow but steady, with his broad shoulders stretched neatly.
He paused before the book shelf and raised his right hand and slowly pushed a hard-covered thick green book from it's place. The book was pushed inside and stopped, followed by a sliding noise.
In the blink of an eye, the shelf which occupied and entire wall was splitted in half and it slided to either sides neatly. Exposing another hidden door.
Prakash placed his right hand on the side of the door, where an electronic screen was waiting for his handprint recognition. After analysing his hand print, there was a green flash on the screen and the hidden door opened, exposing a warmly lighten corridor.
The moment Prakash stepped inside the corridor and the hidden door closed behind him, his entire charisma changed and a dark and cold aura surrounded him.
Following the corridor path, Prakash reached at an office room with large electronic screens and computers. There was a table and stack of documents on it, and some strangely carved showpieces made of jade, crystals and diamonds. The entire room was black with good lighting facilities.
Prakash walked over and sat on the chair beside the table. He leaned backwards and stared at the ceiling with a faint smile on his lips,
"My daughter, I think I knew why you became a doctor...."
His eyes was flashed in pain, " But I still expect that reason will never ever be true..."
Prakash closed his eyes. In the wide room, he was alone with heavy heart.
Moments later, his eyes were opened and the emotions before was replaced by coldness without any trace. He sat straight and turned on the electronic screen, on the wall, opposite to him with remote control.
The black screen instantly flashed, and dozens of datas appeared on it. Prakash placed both of his elbow on the table, and deeply analysed the entire data in different languages with complicated graphs and reports indifferently.
The datas were non other than that of Augustine's Group. But, it wasn't something a vice president can reach easily. Those database included the informations from the entire Augustine groups! Including it's all branches which was widespread throughout the world!
After analysing and marking on the data with his corrections and orders, he shifted his attention to the documents before him.
One of the document file with the official seal of Augustine group was flipped page by page by him.
After reading carefully, he took a golden pen from the bunch of pens beside him and neatly signed his name.
•Yadhav Augustine•
A neat calligraphy like signature was painted with blank ink on the place for the 'signature of chairman'.
In the silence, the pause of the pen seemed like echoing again. Prakash sat on the chair focusing on his work...
This man...
No one knows....
How heavy are the responsibilities he have on his shoulders...
No one to share... No one to hear...
