~Flashback~

Jennifer could remember how Harry's eyes lit up when he saw her, how much attention he paid to her. He made her feel like a princess. She absolutely adored him for that. At first, though, they didn't think fondly of each other. Harry barely acknowledged her, and she ignored him. She thought he was a womanizing man-whore. Harry thought she was an annoying actress who thought she was better than everyone else. They both eventually realized they were wrong.

January 4th, 2012

Jennifer and Harry's first ever date. Jennifer took two hours to get ready, and Harry spent hours trying to make his hair flip just the way he wanted it.

They were going to a five-star, fancy restaurant in New York.

Jennifer was wearing a gorgeous black shimmering dress, with silver around the shoulders.

Harry was wearing a white button up, and a blazer. Fancy for him, at least.

Jennifer waited at her door for Harry to knock. His eyes went wide when she opened the door immediately, then they laughed.

Harry then knew, she was the one. The way her eyes sparkled when she looked at him, and the way her smile was brighter when she was around him.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, and leaned up to his ear.
"I'm really happy you asked me out to this date," she said in a quiet whisper.

They got into Harry's white Ford, and he sped off. He kept his hand on her thigh as he drives through the crisp air. Jen loved this. When they arrived at the restaurant, the both nervously got out of the car. Harry wrapped his arm around her lower back.
"Harry, can I be honest?" Jen said as she stopped walking. He looked at her, and pushed his eyebrows up. She pulled a stray strand of hair out her face. "I'd much rather go through a drive-thru and then go watch the stars," she said while gazing at the sky. He smiled. And looked her over.
"I really like how you're so much different than other girls. Most girls would love to be in a fancy, and crazy expensive restaurant, so they can get attention. But you-you just want to be with me..." He was dazzled by Jennifer.
Then they ran back into Harry's car, and drove through Wendy's. Then they found a perfect field, and Harry drove through it to find the perfect spot for her. They each reclined their seats, and just sat there for hours looking at the sky, and talking.
The rest, well that's history.

Jennifer
I woke up, and realized I fell asleep on Louis' lap. I slapped him on the cheek, and he jolted awake. I bursted into laughter.
"Jesus, Jen!" Louis says just above a whisper. I pet the top of his head, and he swats my away.
"Cheer up, Louis." I said. He glared at me.
"Okay, about this Harry situation." He said putting his face in his hands. My eyes almost bulge out of my head, and I quickly stand.
"I'M SUPPOSED TO BE MARRIED IN-" I briefly look at the clock. Ten thirty. "SEVEN AND A HALF HOURS!" I scream. I rush around to find my phone. I find it on the kitchen counter. I grab it, and dial Harry's number. "Louis go check upstairs, and see if he came home!" I say.
Harry's phone didn't even ring before it went to voicemail. I begin to panic. Something was wrong. Louis runs down the steps, and shakes his head side to side. I feel some pain in my stomach, and I cringe, and grab onto the counter.
"Woah! Momma Bear!" Louis rushes to me. He grabs my elbow. I groan, and the pain is gone. I stand straight up, and grab Louis' hand, and look him in the eyes. I quickly pant in and out.
"I'm fine, it's all good. Just preggo pain." I say, he gives me a look of relief. "I just have to find Harry. Before this wedding..." I drift off.
"And we will." Louis reassures me. Louis and I start calling everyone Harry knows, just to find out if they had seen him.
After an hour and a half, we had no luck.
"We have to go look, Louis," I say trembling. He nods, and grabs his car keys. We head out in his car, and go to the last place he was seen. "Okay. Where did the boys last see him?" I ponder. Not in particular to Louis. Just out loud. He hums for a second.
"The bar, I think." He said. He made a sharp left, and takes us down a road.
-
We arrived at the bar they went to, and searched around for Harry's car. It wasn't there. I mentally screamed. Why didn't Harry leave us clues, or anything!? I got out of the car, and looked around, Louis followed me. I began to panic. What if he really did leave me? No, he wouldn't. I'm carrying his child. Okay, Jen. Breathe. Think. Harry's favorite place was...the field! The field we went to on our first date, was back in New York. But we found one just like it here in California. He loved going there. He has to be there. He goes there all the time to clear his head, and relax. I jump back in Louis' car, and he looks at me questionably.
"The field! Louis go to the field!" I laugh. I was so excited to finally see Harry, and I couldn't wait to slap him for almost abandoning me on our wedding day. Louis literally jumps in his car, and we speed off. It takes us around twenty minutes to get there. Louis hits his break when when see something in the clear. I squint. Harry's car!! Harry is here, I am so relieved. I feel a huge weight lift off my shoulders. I look over to Louis, and see a huge smile on his face. He opens his door first, and starts dashing to the car. Then he stops and looks back to me. He stalks over to my side, and hangs over the door (Louis' car is a convertible). I look up at him and smile.
"Come on Jen!" He says excitedly. I am so relieved I can't even move. I'm so happy we found him. He opens the door for me, and I take off. I get there before him, and look down into Harry's convertible. I am shocked to see there's nothing there. I turn to Louis when he stands beside me, my face already straining a cry. I push my face into his shoulder. He holds my head to him, and then turns to fully hug me.
Harry wasn't there in his car, he couldn't be far. But where is he? Oh god. I have a feeling he's hurt. Or in trouble.
"Louis." I say and untangle myself from him. I bend over and vomit. He rubs my back, and grabs my hair. The tears mix in with my upchuck, and it physically hurts to move.
Once I recover, he looks at me, and cups my cheek.
"I'm so sorry.." He whispers. I nod my head, and he lets go. I open the door to Harry's car and sit there. Louis invites himself when he jumps over the other door. We recline our seats, and he intertwines our fingers. I don't reject him. Louis is the closest I have to a best friend. And he's going through the same thing as me, losing Harry.
"Louis, what if he never comes back? What if I never get married? And I have to raise our child by myself?" I choke. He looks over at me.
"Jennifer. I won't let you be alone, you will get married. He'll come back. I'll will help you raise the Little Dipper." He gives my hand a squeeze to reassure me. We sit in Harry's car for hours, just lying and thinking. I'm sad, and my wedding starts in two hours. I can't get married without my fiancé. I call my mother, and quickly hand my phone to Louis when I couldn't tell her what was wrong. He talks to her.
"Uh, yeah hello Mrs. Lawrence. Um. It's Louis. I'm here with Jennifer in the middle of the field sitting in Harry's car-" he stops talking. "No, we didn't find him. But there can't be a wedding. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Me and Jen are sorting things out right now." He stops again. "Alright, I will. Thank you. Goodbye" he hangs up the phone and takes a breathe. I look at him.
"Jennifer. Would it be oh so crazy if I moved in with you until Harry shows up?"
