Lover era was a beacon of pastel-colored optimism and effervescent love, always seen with a smile that could light up the darkest room. However, this radiance had begun to dim, unnoticed by most until it became impossible to ignore.

It was Reputation, the era clad in dark, edgy aesthetics with a commanding presence, who first sensed the shift. Reputation had always been attuned to the undercurrents of emotion, the subtle fluctuations that hinted at turmoil beneath the surface. For weeks, she observed Lover from afar, watching as the once vibrant persona began to withdraw, her usual exuberance replaced by a muted sadness that hung around her like a shadow.

One evening, Reputation decided to investigate. She ascended the grand staircase, her footsteps almost soundless on the plush carpet, and approached Lover's room. The door was ajar, and through the crack, she could see Lover sitting on the floor, knees drawn to her chest, tears streaming down her face. The sight tugged at something deep within Reputation, a recognition of pain that she herself had once known.

"Lover?" Reputation's voice was soft, yet it carried an unmistakable weight.

Lover looked up, startled, and quickly tried to wipe her tears away. "Go away, Rep," she muttered, her voice cracking.

Reputation stepped into the room, undeterred. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing you'd understand," Lover snapped, her tone laced with a bitterness that was foreign to her usual demeanor. "Just leave me alone."

But Reputation didn't leave. She knelt beside Lover, reaching out to offer comfort. The gesture was met with resistance as Lover pushed her away, more forcefully this time.

"Get out!" Lover shouted, the words reverberating through the room.

Reputation stood, a mixture of hurt and concern in her eyes, but she respected Lover's wish and retreated, the image of her girlfriend's tear-streaked face haunting her.
——
Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. The mansion's usual harmony was disrupted, with Lover's depression casting a long shadow over the household. The other eras noticed but were unsure how to approach the situation. Lover's withdrawal was a stark contrast to her previous persona, and it left them all feeling helpless.

One rainy afternoon, Reputation was wandering the halls when she heard the faint sound of crying again.

This time, she didn't hesitate. She followed the sound to its source, finding Lover in the same position, the same look of despair etched onto her face.

Reputation approached slowly, kneeling beside her once more. "Lover, please, talk to me."

Lover tried to push her away again, but this time, Reputation was firm. She wrapped her arms around Lover, holding her tight despite the physical protests.

"Tell me what's wrong," Reputation whispered.

For a moment, Lover seemed to fight against the embrace, but eventually, she collapsed into it, her body wracked with sobs. "I think... I think something's wrong with me," she finally admitted.

Reputation pulled back slightly to look at her, eyes full of empathy. "What do you mean?"

Lover hesitated, biting her lip. "I feel... I feel like there's this.. thing, or something.. inside me. Like I'm broken. And I don't know how to fix it. I don't even have the motivation to write anymore,"

Reputation listened intently, nodding to encourage her to continue. "Is there anything else?" she asked gently.

Lover bit her lip.
"Uh. No?" Lover Said, more seemingly trying to convince herself, rather then her counterpart.

"Lover." Rep insisted.

Lover took a deep breath, her hands fidgeting in her lap. "Do you ever... do you ever feel like maybe—maybe everyone would be... I don't know. Better off... without, uh... you?" Her voice was barely a whisper by the end, her eyes not daring to meet Reputation's.

Reputation's heart ached at the confession. She took Lover's hands in hers, holding them firmly. "I know what that feels like," she said softly. "I've been there. And I promise you, it's not true. The world is a better place with you in it, Lover."

Lover looked up, her eyes wide with a mixture of surprise and hope. "You really think so?"

"I know so," Reputation affirmed. "You're not alone in this. We'll get through it together."

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I love you, I'm sorry," lover said, her voice contorting into a sad tone.

Rep just pulled her closer.

"It's okay, lov. I love you too, sunshine," she smiled, gently kissing her cheek.

As the weeks wore on, lover got better. Rep convinced her to enter therapy, and they went together.

Lover was back.
